Glerups wool felt slipper boots with leather sole – sustainably warm

You know the type? Slippers that are just plain slippers. Well, Glerups are definitely not that. These wool slippers are made from 100% felted wool and have a flexible leather sole. Wonderfully warm, breathable, and durable – exactly what you want when you come home after a long day. This model is a boot: just a bit higher so your ankles are also protected from the cold.

After being fans ourselves for years and due to many customer requests, we have added Glerups to our collection. And it was about time. Available in different colors, for women and larger children's sizes. Because don't you want everyone to have warm feet?

How to keep your Glerups looking good
Wool is self-cleaning, so washing is usually not necessary. Airing them out is often enough: leave them outside overnight or hang them in the bathroom for a while. At first, the wool may pill a little, but that will disappear on its own. Convenient: the leather sole is replaceable, so your slippers last even longer.

Frequently asked questions
What size should I choose?
The sizes run true to fit. Do you have a half size or wide feet? Then choose a size up. The slippers will stretch a bit, but it is actually nice if they feel slightly roomy at first.

Can I walk outside with leather soles?
This model is intended as a house shoe. The leather sole is not suitable for damp surfaces. Do you also want to walk to the mailbox outside? Then take a look at the version with a rubber sole.

Wol is fantastisch

En dit is waarom:

Wol is een natuurlijk materiaal dat heerlijk warm aanvoelt en tegelijkertijd juist goed ademt. Het helpt je lichaamstemperatuur op een fijne manier in balans te houden, zodat je het minder snel te warm of te koud krijgt. Daarnaast kan wol veel vocht opnemen zonder klam aan te voelen, wat het extra comfortabel maakt. Door de natuurlijke eigenschappen blijft wol vaak langer fris, waardoor je het minder vaak hoeft te wassen. Ook is wol sterk, veerkrachtig en gaat het bij goed onderhoud jarenlang mee. Het is dus niet alleen fijn om te dragen, maar ook een mooie, duurzame keuze.

Was koud of lauw

Was wol altijd voorzichtig koud of op maximaal 30 graden, ALTIJD met een wolwasprogramma. Wol krimpt bij temperatuurswisselingen, deze heb je niet bij een wolwasprogramma. Let op, wolwas programma is en essentie anders dan het handwasprogramma!

Gebruik wolwasmiddel

Kies altijd een mild wolwasmiddel en vermijd gewone wasmiddelen, omdat die de wolvezel kunnen beschadigen.

Niet wringen of slepen

Behandel wol rustig, laat het niet zwaar uithangen als het nat is. Wring de wol nooit uit. Druk het water er voorzichtig uit en laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een handdoek.

Luchten is het beste!

In principe volstaat luchten ook. Was alleen als het echt nodig is!
