100% wool is truly different from wool with synthetics
Please note: many socks called ‘wool socks’ are only partially made of wool. The rest is often synthetic (polyester, nylon, acrylic). Not ours. Our socks are 100% wool. That means: better breathability, better for your feet, and better for the planet. But it also means: more susceptible to wear. And yes, we are happy to be honest with you about that.
Which sock size do I need?
Our socks have a generous fit. They are available in sizes 26 to 48. Are you between two sizes? It is better to choose the smaller one. This ensures they stay in place and wear out less quickly.
Wear and tear? It's part of the deal – and you can repair it
Pure wool socks are not meant to be worn as house socks on bare feet. Always wear them with slippers or shoes. This extends their lifespan. Got a hole anyway? With some darning wool and a darning egg, it’s easily fixed. And we are happy to help you with that!
Don't wash, just air them out
Wool is self-cleaning. After wearing, simply hang the socks out and they will be fresh again. Only in case of accidents should you wash them carefully on a cold wool cycle with a good wool detergent like our Lanalicious.
