HIRSCH NATUR pure wool KNEE-HIGH SOCKS with Norwegian pattern

Wonderful pure wool knee-high socks with a colored Norwegian pattern from HIRSCH NATUR

Our knee-high socks are long, pure wool socks made of 100% wonderful and honest organic wool, KBt-certified. These wool knee-high socks feature a Norwegian motif with small stars. The socks come in 2 colors, and we have these in several variations. Wool knee-high socks are wool socks that you never have to wash! No, you read that exactly right.
Wool has the fantastic property of being self-cleaning; hanging them out for a night (outside, or in the bathroom while you shower) is enough. Don't believe it? Check out this video!

Pure wool knee-high socks made of 100% wool

These long socks or knee-highs reach just below your knee and are great to wear inside boots. We sometimes wear them over our trousers as leg warmers. The socks all have a lovely Norwegian motif, which makes them particularly beautiful. The socks have several rows of knitted-in elastic at the very top of the cuff. You neither see nor feel this, but it is important because it prevents the wool socks from sliding down. Nothing more annoying than socks that won't stay up, right?

Holes will appear in 100% wool knee-high socks....

There is nothing you can do about that. However, we have plenty of tips that can help extend the lifespan of your 100% wool knee-high socks. Wool socks naturally invite you to wear them around the house, which is, of course, no problem: but always do so in (well-fitting!!) shoes or slippers. If you wear 100% wool socks as house socks, they will wear out quickly and holes will form. These are easy to "darn," by the way; we made a handy video for that too. In addition, pure wool socks are very slippery: watch out on stairs! Unfortunately, holes in your new wool socks cannot be (completely) prevented. Over time, 100% wool socks simply wear out faster than socks containing synthetic fibers. Furthermore, it is important that wool socks are not chosen too large or too small. Well-fitting footwear is also important to extend the life of your socks. Why would you choose 100% wool socks despite this? Because there is NOTHING that beats a pair of nice socks without any junk... The difference in wearing comfort compared to socks with synthetic content is truly significantly better. Smelly feet are a thing of the past!

With every order, you receive a booklet in which the care of your wool socks is described in detail. From our years of experience, we have learned that rotating your wool socks significantly extends their lifespan. So, you don't need 1, but several pairs of wool socks. Always check your socks for wear after wearing them. As soon as you see that wear has occurred, you can start darning. Wool socks do not need to be washed, but they do need to be pampered :-)

Wol is fantastisch

En dit is waarom:

Wol is een natuurlijk materiaal dat heerlijk warm aanvoelt en tegelijkertijd juist goed ademt. Het helpt je lichaamstemperatuur op een fijne manier in balans te houden, zodat je het minder snel te warm of te koud krijgt. Daarnaast kan wol veel vocht opnemen zonder klam aan te voelen, wat het extra comfortabel maakt. Door de natuurlijke eigenschappen blijft wol vaak langer fris, waardoor je het minder vaak hoeft te wassen. Ook is wol sterk, veerkrachtig en gaat het bij goed onderhoud jarenlang mee. Het is dus niet alleen fijn om te dragen, maar ook een mooie, duurzame keuze.

Was koud of lauw

Was wol altijd voorzichtig koud of op maximaal 30 graden, ALTIJD met een wolwasprogramma. Wol krimpt bij temperatuurswisselingen, deze heb je niet bij een wolwasprogramma. Let op, wolwas programma is en essentie anders dan het handwasprogramma!

Gebruik wolwasmiddel

Kies altijd een mild wolwasmiddel en vermijd gewone wasmiddelen, omdat die de wolvezel kunnen beschadigen.

Niet wringen of slepen

Behandel wol rustig, laat het niet zwaar uithangen als het nat is. Wring de wol nooit uit. Druk het water er voorzichtig uit en laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een handdoek.

Luchten is het beste!

In principe volstaat luchten ook. Was alleen als het echt nodig is!
