Our knee-highs are long, pure wool socks made of 100% lovely and honest organic wool, KbT certified. The wool knee-high socks feature a Norwegian motif with little stars. The knee-highs come in 2 colors, and we have these in several variations. Wool knee-high socks are wool socks that you never have to wash! No, you read that correctly.
Wool has the fantastic property of being self-cleaning; hanging them out for a night (outside, or in the bathroom while you shower) is sufficient. Don't believe it? Then check out this video!

Pure wool knee-high socks made of 100% wool

These long socks or knee-highs reach just below your knee and are great to wear in boots. We also sometimes wear them over our trousers as leg warmers. All the socks have a beautiful Norwegian motif, which makes them particularly nice. The socks have several rows of knitted-in elastic at the very top of the cuff. You don't see or feel these, but they are important because they prevent the wool socks from slipping down. Nothing more annoying than slipping socks, right?

100% wool knee-high socks get holes....

There's nothing you can do about that. However, we have a lot of tips that can help extend the lifespan of your 100% wool knee-high socks. Wool socks just invite you to wear them comfortably around the house, which is of course no problem: but always do so in (well-fitting!!) shoes or slippers. If you wear 100% wool socks as house socks, they will wear out quickly and holes will develop. These are, by the way, easy to "darn." We also made a handy video for that. In addition, pure wool socks are very slippery: watch out for walking on stairs! Holes in your new wool socks are unfortunately not (entirely) preventable. Over time, 100% wool socks simply wear out faster than socks with synthetic fibers. Furthermore, it is important that wool socks are not chosen too large or too small. Well-fitting footwear is also important to extend the lifespan of your socks. Why would you choose 100% wool socks despite this? Because there is NOTHING like a pair of fine socks without junk... The difference in wearing comfort compared to socks with a synthetic blend is truly much better. Stinky feet are a thing of the past!

With every order, you receive a booklet in which the care of your wool socks is described in detail. From our years of experience, we have learned that alternating your wool socks significantly extends their lifespan. You don't need 1, but several pairs of wool socks. Always check your socks for wear after wearing them. As soon as you see that wear has occurred, you can start darning. Wool socks don't need to be washed, but they do need to be pampered :-)
