What makes Fierce exclusive?
This combination of dark blue and warm rust brown was put together specifically for Natur-el. The graphic pattern consists of various Scandinavian-style motifs, meaning there is something to discover all over the sock. The solid dark blue cuff, heel, and toe bring balance to the design.
The result is distinct, but surprisingly easy to combine. Fierce goes perfectly with denim, brown, cognac, dark blue, and other warm autumn colors. Under trousers, the sturdy color blocks are mostly visible; with shorter trousers or rolled-up hems, the full pattern emerges.

Warm feet thanks to 100% organic wool
Wool insulates, breathes, and can absorb moisture without immediately feeling clammy. This helps the material regulate the temperature around your feet. This makes these socks warm, but generally less stuffy than thick socks made largely of synthetic fibers.
Hirsch Natur does not use synthetic fibers to reinforce the wool in this model. This gives you a pure wool sock and all the fine qualities that come with it. Anyone sensitive to wool may initially find the sturdy knit a bit itchy. During wear and after a careful wash, the wool usually becomes somewhat softer.
Hirsch sizing advice: choose the smaller size if in doubt
Hirsch Natur socks generally run large. Are you between two sizes or do two combined sizes both fit your shoe size? Then usually choose the smaller size. This prevents excess material from bunching up at the heel or toes.
A wool sock should sit around your foot without hard folds. Socks that are too loose can slide in your shoes, causing extra friction. Socks that are too small are stretched too far, putting unnecessary strain on the knit.
The cuff also contains some very fine elastic threads. These are integrated into the knit and do not come into direct contact with the skin. They help keep the sock in place without the entire sock having to be made of synthetic material.

How quickly a sock wears out varies greatly per person. Your shoes, walking style, foot shape, calluses, nails, and how often you wear the same pair all play a role. A rough or damaged insole can wear even a good wool sock thin surprisingly quickly.

How to wash wool socks without unnecessary wear
Wool needs to be washed much less often than cotton or synthetic materials. After wearing, let your socks air out and preferably give them a day of rest before wearing them again. Often, they will freshen up on their own.
Do the socks need washing? Always follow the care label. When machine washing is allowed, use the wool cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees, a low spin speed, and a special wool detergent. Regular detergent may contain enzymes that damage wool fibers.
We like to use Lanalicious wool detergent. Do not use fabric softener and never put wool socks in the dryer. After washing, gently reshape them and let them air dry lying flat, away from a hot radiator.
