Warm hands without clumsy fingers
Wrist warmers are also known as fingerless gloves or hand warmers. They cover your wrists, part of your forearms, and the majority of your hands. Thanks to the thumb hole, they stay neatly in place while your fingers retain full freedom of movement.
They are ideal when you work at a computer a lot and get cold hands easily. They are also incredibly convenient while cycling, driving, grocery shopping, or walking the dog. What makes baby alpaca so special?
Baby alpaca is among the finest and softest of alpaca fibers. The name refers to the fineness of the fiber and does not automatically mean the wool comes exclusively from young alpacas.
The fibers are light, smooth, and temperature-regulating. They retain heat well while remaining breathable. As a result, these wool wrist warmers provide plenty of warmth without feeling thick, heavy, or clammy.
Alpaca wool naturally contains no lanolin. Many people who find regular wool itchy or are sensitive to wool wax often find alpaca comfortable. Every skin reacts differently, of course, so we can never promise that no one will feel anything. But baby alpaca is truly one of the softest types of wool in our collection.

What size are the LUNA wrist warmers?
The APU KUNTUR LUNA wrist warmers are one size. The knit is supple and conforms nicely to the hands and wrists. The snug ribbed cuff helps prevent the wrist warmers from sliding while being worn.
The total length is approximately 18 cm. As a result, they cover not only your hands but also part of your wrists and forearms.
How do you care for baby alpaca wrist warmers?
Alpaca almost never needs to be washed. Hang the wrist warmers outside or by an open window after wearing. The fibers hardly absorb odors and thus easily freshen up on their own.
Do you want to wash them anyway? Then use cold water or a maximum of 30 degrees and a small amount of special detergent for alpaca, such as Washpaca. Avoid using detergents with added lanolin, as alpaca does not naturally contain lanolin.
Wash gently by hand or only use a wool wash program if the care label allows it. Do not wring, do not tumble dry, and do not hang to dry when wet. Gently press the water out of the wrist warmers, reshape them, and let them dry flat. Yes, we are a bit strict about washing. But for a good reason :-)
