How to care for a baby alpaca hat?
Washing is almost never necessary. Hang the hat outside or near an open window after wearing and let it air out. Alpaca hardly absorbs any odors and therefore refreshes itself easily.
Does the LUNA need to be washed after all? Use cold water (maximum 30 degrees Celsius) and a small amount of special detergent without lanolin, such as Washpaca. Wash gently by hand or use only a wool wash program if the wash label allows it.
Do not wring, do not tumble dry, and do not hang to dry when wet. Gently press the water out of the hat, reshape it, and let it dry flat.
