ERIBÉ Alpine wool sweater with Fair Isle pattern in merino and angora

Oh la la! The Fair Isle sweaters from ERIBÉ Knitwear are back in stock! And man, are they beautiful. These knitted gems are made from super-soft merino wool with a touch of angora in the pattern — giving them that luxurious, fluffy look you won't find anywhere else.

Now I hear you thinking: angora, is that animal-friendly? Great question. Because with budget brands, that's often a no-go. But ERIBÉ does things differently. The angora comes from Italy and is harvested by brushing the rabbits during the shedding season. No animal cruelty, just that silky-soft luxury.

Fan of cardigans? Or team sweater?

For the sweater-lovers, we have good news: this ALPINE sweater has a slightly looser fit than the cardigan and is just as stunning. In stock in several colors! And yes, of course we have a handy size guide ready for you, so you know exactly which size you need.

How do you care for your ERIBÉ wool sweater?

Don't wash it too often. It’s really not necessary. Simply airing it out or hanging it in the bathroom works wonders. Does it really need a wash? Choose a cold wool cycle, use a detergent with lanolin (like our Lanalicious), and let it dry flat.

Wool and pilling – no stress!

A little pilling is normal. Use a good fabric shaver (like the Gleener) and definitely don't pull at it. This will keep your sweater in top condition.

Wol is fantastisch

En dit is waarom:

Wol is een natuurlijk materiaal dat heerlijk warm aanvoelt en tegelijkertijd juist goed ademt. Het helpt je lichaamstemperatuur op een fijne manier in balans te houden, zodat je het minder snel te warm of te koud krijgt. Daarnaast kan wol veel vocht opnemen zonder klam aan te voelen, wat het extra comfortabel maakt. Door de natuurlijke eigenschappen blijft wol vaak langer fris, waardoor je het minder vaak hoeft te wassen. Ook is wol sterk, veerkrachtig en gaat het bij goed onderhoud jarenlang mee. Het is dus niet alleen fijn om te dragen, maar ook een mooie, duurzame keuze.

Was koud of lauw

Was wol altijd voorzichtig koud of op maximaal 30 graden, ALTIJD met een wolwasprogramma. Wol krimpt bij temperatuurswisselingen, deze heb je niet bij een wolwasprogramma. Let op, wolwas programma is en essentie anders dan het handwasprogramma!

Gebruik wolwasmiddel

Kies altijd een mild wolwasmiddel en vermijd gewone wasmiddelen, omdat die de wolvezel kunnen beschadigen.

Niet wringen of slepen

Behandel wol rustig, laat het niet zwaar uithangen als het nat is. Wring de wol nooit uit. Druk het water er voorzichtig uit en laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een handdoek.

Luchten is het beste!

In principe volstaat luchten ook. Was alleen als het echt nodig is!
