FLOMAX wool repair patch JEANS made of IVN-certified wool

A worn-out knee or elbow doesn't mean your favorite wool garment is ready for the bin. With the FLOMAX wool repair patches in the color JEANS, you can cover a damaged area and give the fabric renewed strength. This way, your sweater, cardigan, or wool trousers will last much longer.

The patches are made from 100% IVN-certified wool. IVN stands for "International Association Natural Textile Industry" (Naturtextil IVN certified) and sets requirements for, among other things, the feeding, care, and living conditions of the sheep.

Why repairing is always a good idea

Wool is a beautiful natural material, but it can wear out with frequent use. Elbows and knees, in particular, endure a lot of friction. By reinforcing a weak spot in time, you can often prevent a small worn patch from turning into a large hole. And if there is already a hole? Then a patch gives the garment a second round.

Calm denim color

The color JEANS is a heathered blue tone that combines beautifully with denim, dark blue, gray, and many other wool colors. You can let the repair blend in subtly or make it intentionally visible. Repaired clothing doesn't have to look brand new to be cherished for years to come.

Please note: this is not an iron-on patch. Place the patch over the damaged area, pin it in place, and sew it down around the edges with small stitches. Always follow the garment's washing instructions when cleaning.

Wol is fantastisch

En dit is waarom:

Wol is een natuurlijk materiaal dat heerlijk warm aanvoelt en tegelijkertijd juist goed ademt. Het helpt je lichaamstemperatuur op een fijne manier in balans te houden, zodat je het minder snel te warm of te koud krijgt. Daarnaast kan wol veel vocht opnemen zonder klam aan te voelen, wat het extra comfortabel maakt. Door de natuurlijke eigenschappen blijft wol vaak langer fris, waardoor je het minder vaak hoeft te wassen. Ook is wol sterk, veerkrachtig en gaat het bij goed onderhoud jarenlang mee. Het is dus niet alleen fijn om te dragen, maar ook een mooie, duurzame keuze.

Was koud of lauw

Was wol altijd voorzichtig koud of op maximaal 30 graden, ALTIJD met een wolwasprogramma. Wol krimpt bij temperatuurswisselingen, deze heb je niet bij een wolwasprogramma. Let op, wolwas programma is en essentie anders dan het handwasprogramma!

Gebruik wolwasmiddel

Kies altijd een mild wolwasmiddel en vermijd gewone wasmiddelen, omdat die de wolvezel kunnen beschadigen.

Niet wringen of slepen

Behandel wol rustig, laat het niet zwaar uithangen als het nat is. Wring de wol nooit uit. Druk het water er voorzichtig uit en laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een handdoek.

Luchten is het beste!

In principe volstaat luchten ook. Was alleen als het echt nodig is!
