We ran into Dawn at a trade fair in Frankfurt. No glitter, no fuss, just a team full of energy, passion, and a mission. And yes, it happened: we fell in love. Not just with the denim, which is wonderfully soft and strong, but precisely with the whole story behind it. Because believe me: Dawn Denim really has everything in order. Transparency, fair production, social justice, the most beautiful materials, and a fit that makes me incredibly happy.
DAWN denim: designed in Berlin, with its own factory in Vietnam
Instead of producing in an unknown (dangerous) factory far away—because why not, it's cheap, right?—Dawn does things a little differently. They have their own factory in Saigon, Vietnam. There, they don't just ensure fair wages and safe working conditions; they also set new standards for what is possible in the fashion industry. And it works: Dawn has been named the best-performing brand by the Fair Wear Foundation three times, with a score of 100/100 twice. You rarely see that. And I am really all for that!
Every garment from Dawn is equipped with a QR code. Scan it and you’ll see who made your jeans, where, and how. That’s not marketing talk; that’s transparency down to the very fiber. They believe they can make a difference in the fashion world, and they do, every single day.

For our store in Rotterdam, we chose not only sustainable jeans but also dresses and a beautiful denim jumpsuit. I immediately put on the denim dress myself: size L fits my size 40 perfectly, and I don't really want to take it off anymore. It feels so comfortable, looks tough and feminine at the same time, and will be a staple for me this winter. Dawn fits very true to size. LOVE IT!
