DAWN DENIM men's jeans DUSK - timeless, rugged and sustainable

Do you know what customers often tell me? That they have finally found a pair of jeans that is made fairly, fits well, and lasts a long time. That is exactly what the DUSK jeans by DAWN DENIM are. No fuss, just a classic pair of jeans that you will want to wear every day – and made from organic cotton, to boot.

Why you want them

The DUSK is that kind of pair of trousers that never goes out of style. Regular slim fit with a straight leg and a medium waist: exactly the right balance between modern and timeless. Available in four colours – raw denim, black, dark blue and mid blue – so you can always find a version that matches your style.

Fit & styling

With its comfortable fit, the DUSK is never too tight, yet still looks nicely slim. Combine the black version with a white shirt for a smart look, or wear the raw denim with a basic T-shirt and sneakers for a relaxed outfit. These are the kind of trousers that you can easily switch from work to weekend. L32, inside leg length = 81 cm L34, inside leg length = 86 cm

Material & care

The jeans are made of 99% organic cotton and 1% lycra. That little bit of stretch ensures that the trousers move comfortably with you without losing their shape. Please note: dark jeans can bleed colour. Our secret trick? A night in a vinegar bath; this fixes the colour and removes odours at the same time. Ideally, wash at 30 degrees with similar colours and always air dry. Watch this video for extra tips on washing denim.

Sustainable & fair

DAWN DENIM produces in its own factory in Vietnam, completely fair trade and under the strict supervision of the Fair Wear Foundation. In addition, the trousers are PETA-approved vegan and you can track the entire production chain via Retraced. Fair jeans, from cotton to button. And remember: sustainable does not mean indestructible. Rotate your trousers to significantly extend their lifespan.

Biologisch katoen is bijzonder

En dit is waarom:

Biologisch katoen is een van de zachtste en meest huidvriendelijke materialen die er zijn. Het ademt goed, voelt vertrouwd aan en is makkelijk te wassen. Doordat het geteeld wordt zonder synthetische pesticiden of kunstmest, is het ook eerlijker voor de bodem en voor de mensen die het verbouwen. Biologisch katoen bevat minder chemische resten dan gewoon katoen, wat het extra fijn maakt voor mensen met een gevoelige huid — en zeker voor baby's en kinderen. Het is een materiaal dat je gewoon goed voelt: op je huid, en in je hoofd.

Wassen op lage temperatuur

Was biologisch katoen op maximaal 30 of 40 graden in de machine. Gebruik een fijnwasprogramma voor een langere levensduur.

Wasmiddel

Gebruik een mild, bij voorkeur biologisch wasmiddel. Vermijd bleekmiddel, dat tast de vezels aan.

Drogen

Haal je kleding DIRECT uit de wasmachine om wasstrepen te voorkomen. Laat het kledingstuk bij voorkeur aan de lucht drogen. Vermijd drogen in de droger, dat doet meer slecht dan goed voor je textielvezel.

Extra verzorging

Katoen is makkelijk te strijken op een middelhoge temperatuur. Was niet vaker dan nodig, luchten is vaak genoeg!
