How does the MADNESS VONNE turtleneck fit?
The VONNE has a nice, regular fit: not oversized, but also not so tight that it fits like an undershirt. In the photos, I am wearing size 40. You can see that the sweater drapes nicely along the body, with plenty of room to move.
If you want to wear it as shown in the photos, we would generally recommend your normal size.
How does the VONNE's turtleneck feel?
The VONNE has a classic, fold -over turtleneck that fits nicely around the neck. Not a huge, thick roll, but rather a refined collar that complements the fine knit of the rest of the sweater.
That also makes it very easy to wear under other layers. A collar that becomes three times the size of your head under your coat might be warm, but it's not always practical. This one stays nice and understated.
Why a sweater made of wool and cotton?
We find this combination to be perfect for an everyday sweater. Wool is naturally temperature-regulating and breathable and helps keep your body warm when it is cold. At the same time, the organic cotton gives the sweater a smoother and more accessible feel.
This makes the VONNE a great option if you love wearing wool but aren't necessarily looking for a thick or very woolly sweater.
How do you style the MADNESS VONNE?
It's very easy. With a pair of jeans, it’s already enough, but its understated design makes it incredibly versatile. Wear it under a wool cardigan or jacket, pair it with trousers for a smarter outfit, or tuck it partially into a skirt.
Balsam Green is a beautiful muted green that combines well with denim, dark blue, black, sand, and neutral tones. Dark blue is, of course, one of those colors you hardly have to think about: it truly goes with everything.
How do you wash a wool turtleneck with organic cotton?
Not too often! Wool has natural properties that mean you need to wash a wool sweater far less often than many people think. Hang the VONNE out to air after wearing it and only wash it when absolutely necessary.
Does it need to be washed? Always follow the care label, choose a suitable wool wash cycle, and use a special wool detergent, such as our Lanalicious wool detergent with lanolin. Do not wring and do not tumble dry; let the sweater dry flat and in shape.

Pilling can always occur with wool garments, especially in areas where there is a lot of friction. This does not automatically indicate poor quality; it is a characteristic of natural fibers.
If some lint or pills appear over time? You can gently remove them with our Gleener fabric shaver to keep the surface of your sweater looking well-maintained.
