GRODO thin wool socks solid off-white naturel
Grodo thin wool socks solid
We often hear the remark: thick wool socks don't fit in my shoes! Well, these certainly do. Grödo socks are wonderfully thin and yet made entirely from organic wool, KBT-certified! The thickness of these wool socks reminds us of thin cotton socks that you like to wear in your dress shoes, for example. The great advantage of pure wool socks is that they are nice and cozy, and you don't get sweaty feet, as you might with their synthetic or cotton counterparts. We have Grodo socks in 5 beautiful colors. These solid wool socks are the perfect basic socks. The socks are "hand-linked," so they have no seams. If you are sensitive to seams, you are in luck with these socks. Did you see that we also have thin wool socks from Hirsch Natur? These are available in more colors and patterns.
Please note! Wool socks are inviting to wear around the house, which is of course no problem: but always do so in shoes or slippers. If you wear 100% wool socks as house socks, they will wear out quickly and holes will appear. These are, by the way, easy to "darn." You can find instructions for this on YouTube. Additionally, wool socks are slippery: be careful on stairs. Holes unfortunately cannot be completely prevented. Over time, 100% wool socks will wear out. And you are no exception to this. You, too, will get holes in your wool socks. This wear happens faster for some than for others: also keep in mind that thin socks wear out faster than thick ones. Some people get holes in their wool socks within a few days. I personally can wear my wool socks for entire winters. We wrote a blog about how you can delay it precisely. Read the blog here. Furthermore, it is important that wool socks are not chosen too large or too small. Well-fitting footwear is also important to extend the life of your socks: the more friction, the faster your socks will wear out.
we do not offer a warranty on wear and tear of your wool socks! Also check out our darning wool section, and order a bit of darning wool right away.
