Oh wow, what a discovery these trousers from GIVN are! Seriously: in my entire sustainable clothing career, I have never worn such soft trousers. BEA BROWN is made from 100% organic cotton flannel and is GOTS-certified. The fabric is brushed, making it feel almost like soft fleece – but with much more style.

The color BROWN is a deep, warm shade of brown that combines beautifully with cream, pink, dark blue, green, and of course, even more brown. We also have BEA in ANTRACITE. Both colors are available in sizes XS to XL.

Soft flannel, but without the wool

When thinking of flannel, many people automatically think of wool, but "flannel" mainly refers to how the fabric is finished. These trousers consist entirely of organic cotton. The fabric is lightly brushed, making it feel warm, soft, and almost wool-like. Very nice for autumn and winter, but also on cooler spring days.

High waist with comfortable wide legs

The fit is excellent: a nice high waist with an elastic section at the back of the waistband. This makes the trousers fit nicely without being unnecessarily tight anywhere. The wide legs drape smoothly and give BEA an elegant shape that can be worn both smart and casual.

I wear size L myself with a dress size 40, and it fits like a glove. The fabric contains no elastane and is therefore not a true stretch fabric, but the cotton may relax slightly while worn. After washing, the trousers will return to their original shape.

The sizes below are measured in centimeters while the trousers were laid flat. The waist width is the distance from one side of the waistband to the other, not the full circumference. Because the back is elastic, the waist can stretch a bit more.

How to style them?

• Tough and cool with a tucked-in blouse or shirt
• Chic with a fitted turtleneck and ankle boots
• Casual with a thick wool sweater and sneakers

Because BEA has a classic waistband with belt loops, you can also wear her with a nice belt. The warm flannel fabric makes the trousers cozy, while the neat finish prevents them from looking like loungewear. Although they would be excellent for that too, by the way.

GOTS-certified organic cotton

BEA is made from 100% organic cotton and carries the GOTS label. The Global Organic Textile Standard sets requirements for the processing of organic fibers and also considers environmental criteria and social conditions in the production chain.

Washing instructions

Wash the trousers at a maximum of 30 degrees with a mild detergent and turn them inside out first. Do not put BEA in the dryer, but let her air dry. This keeps the color, fit, and soft flannel finish looking beautiful for longer.
