Jeans blue without the denim fabric

The color JEANS is a calm, heathered medium shade of blue. This gives the skirt the familiar look of denim, but without the stiffness or typical seams of a denim skirt. The wool texture softens the color and gives it more depth.

What is boiled wool?

Boiled wool is made by controlled felting of knitted wool. This makes the fabric more compact, sturdier, and warmer. The material holds its shape well while retaining the natural breathable and temperature-regulating properties of wool.

KBT stands for kontrolliert biologische Tierhaltung, or controlled organic livestock farming. This form of farming sets requirements for, among other things, the feeding, care, and living conditions of the sheep.

The MERLE is made of pure organic wool, without added synthetic fibers. This allows you to enjoy the natural warmth and breathability of wool to the fullest.

Fit and sizing advice

MERLE has a slight A-line. The skirt fits closely at the waist and hips and subtly widens towards the hem. It therefore has a feminine fit but is not tight around the legs. The front remains sleek thanks to the straight center seam; the zipper and button are located at the back.

The skirt fits true to size. Therefore, choose your usual size. In size M, MERLE is approximately 50 centimeters long. Where the hem falls on your leg depends, of course, on your height and build.

Three solid colors and plaid variants

We have MERLE in three solid colors: JEANS, RUST, and BORDEAUX. JEANS is the most calm and versatile option. If you prefer something warmer and more striking, RUST and BORDEAUX are beautiful alternatives.

How to care for MERLE JEANS

You don't need to wash wool clothing often. Air out the skirt regularly and carefully remove surface dirt with a soft brush. A small stain can usually be treated locally with a slightly damp cloth.

Is a full wash necessary? Then follow the washing instructions on the garment. Use a special wool detergent, avoid large temperature differences, and let the skirt dry gently in its shape. Do not wring, do not place on the radiator, and do not put in the dryer.
