A solid-colored skirt that never gets boring

MERLE BORDEAUX is solid-colored, but thanks to the heathered wool structure, the color remains vibrant. The deep wine-red shade combines beautifully with natural, cream, pink, dark blue, anthracite, and black. For a warmer outfit, you can also wear it with rust, camel, chocolate brown, or dark green.

Combine the skirt with a fine-knit turtleneck for a calm look or wear it with a colorful cardigan if you’re in the mood for something more spectacular. Add a pair of wool tights or one of our Engel leggings underneath, and you’ll be dressed appropriately for a skirt even on cold days.

What makes boiled wool so pleasant?

How to care for MERLE BORDEAUX

Fortunately, you don't have to wash wool often. Let the skirt air out regularly after wearing and gently brush away superficial dirt. Small stains can usually be treated locally with a slightly damp cloth.

Is a full wash necessary? Always follow the washing instructions in the skirt. Use a suitable wool detergent, avoid large temperature differences, and let the skirt dry flat in shape. Do not wring, do not place on the heater, and do not tumble dry. Boiled wool is strong, but it has no desire for a wild washing adventure.
