Sometimes you come across something at a trade fair and you know immediately: this might not fit one hundred percent into our usual buying profile, but we just have to have it. That is exactly what happened with the FLOMAX JUNA RUST. Those warm colors, the beautiful check pattern, and that sturdy, tweed-like wool... We were in love before we had even made a serious attempt to think about it from a business perspective.

JUNA is a classic pencil skirt made of pure organic wool. The cut follows the lines of your body and falls quite straight. The wool fabric has a beautiful tweed-like texture and feels sturdy and warm. It is not a thin, flimsy skirt, but a true wool winter skirt with character.

What is a Glen check?

A Glen check (or glen plaid) is a classic check pattern made up of several smaller and larger patterns. Fine and broader lines intersect, creating alternating light, dark, and heathered areas. As a result, the pattern has more depth than a simple block check.

In the case of JUNA, the base consists of various warm rust and red tones. Running through them are subtle lines in colors including green, blue, and light natural. From a distance, you see a rich, warm check; up close, you discover more and more colors and details. Exactly the kind of fabric you can keep looking at for an unnecessarily long time. JUNA RUST: classic without being boring

A wool pencil skirt with a check pattern can easily look very traditional, but thanks to the warm rust color, JUNA feels vibrant and contemporary. The cut is understated, while the fabric and colors ensure the skirt is anything but boring.

Combine it with a solid-colored turtleneck in cream, burgundy, navy blue, or olive green. A simple black shirt or a chunky knit cardigan also looks wonderful with it. Not our most obvious choice

A classic checkered pencil skirt isn't necessarily something that is always in our collection. We often opt for supple styles, color, and clothing that can easily be worn every day. Yet, we simply couldn't leave this JUNA behind at the fair.

The combination of pure organic wool, the rich tweed structure, and that beautiful Glen check made us immediately enthusiastic. Sometimes you shouldn't just assemble a collection with your head, but also leave room for something that just makes you very happy. We hope, of course, that you fall in love with it just as much as we did.

We have the JUNA in several color variations. The pattern remains recognizable, but each color combination gives the skirt a completely different look. RUST is the warm, expressive variant and combines beautifully with natural autumn colors, but also with brighter blue, pink, or green.

How to care for this wool skirt

You don't need to wash pure wool after every wear. Air the skirt out regularly and gently brush away any surface dirt. Small stains can usually be treated locally with a slightly damp cloth.

Does the skirt need to be fully cleaned? Then always follow the washing instructions on the garment. If machine wool washing is permitted, use a special wool detergent and avoid rubbing, wringing, and large temperature differences. Let the skirt dry naturally into shape and do not put it in the dryer.
