Sometimes you see something at a trade fair and you immediately think: yes, that one has to come with me. The FLOMAX JUNA BLUE was exactly such a case. A wool pencil skirt in a beautiful tweed-like fabric might not be something we stock as standard every season, but we fell so in love with this check that resisting it made little sense.

JUNA BLUE has a deep blue base with gray panels and fine lines in turquoise and fresh green. Classic enough to wear for years, but definitely not dull thanks to those colorful accents. We have this skirt in three different color variations.

A glencheck pattern, but nicely colorful

The check of the JUNA is based on the classic glencheck. In such a pattern, various fine and wider lines cross each other, creating ever smaller checks and blocks within the large check. From a distance, you see a calm large check. Up close, you discover all the small lines and color details.

With this BLUE variant, the pattern consists of different shades of blue and gray, with narrow lines in turquoise and green. This gives the skirt the look of traditional tweed, but without the need to arrange a country estate and a hunting dog to go with it.

Pure organic wool

The JUNA BLUE is made of pure wool from controlled organic animal husbandry, also known as KBT. KBT wool is subject to requirements for animal welfare, nutrition, and the use of chemicals. The further processing of the material must also meet strict conditions.

Wool is naturally warm, breathable, and good at regulating temperature. That makes this skirt ideal for the colder months. Combine it with wool tights or leggings and you really don't have to spend the whole winter just in trousers.

Fit and styling

JUNA has a straight pencil skirt model that falls beautifully along the body. The sturdy tweed fabric gives the skirt structure and allows the check pattern to come into its own.

Wear it with a solid-colored wool sweater in dark blue, green, turquoise, or natural to let the colors from the check stand out. It becomes smart with a blouse and ankle boots, while a chunky knit sweater and sturdy shoes create a more casual combination.

How to care for a wool tweed skirt

Fortunately, wool does not need to be washed after every wear. Air the skirt regularly and carefully treat small stains locally. If a full wash is necessary? Always follow the washing instructions in the garment and use a suitable wool detergent.

Let wool clothing dry lying flat or carefully shaped, and do not use a dryer. It has many qualities, but handling a beautiful organic wool skirt delicately is generally not one of them.
