What a delight! Leggings made from organic wool and silk. For the ladies among us who often feel a bit cold and prefer to wear an extra layer, these wool-silk leggings from Engel Natur are just the thing. The leggings are thin, making them the perfect base layer. These wool-silk leggings are made of high-quality organic wool and silk and feel wonderful worn under a dress, or even under regular trousers during really cold days. I personally also like to wear them with a long-sleeve top as pajamas. Pure bliss!

Leggings made of pure natural materials like wool and silk

Are a great alternative to synthetic leggings that actually deprive you of warmth. The leggings are made from a fantastic blend of wool or wool with silk. The proportion of organic wool is 70%, and the proportion of silk is 30%. The fabric is a fine jersey-like material. Thanks to the silk content, the leggings are resistant to losing their shape too quickly. While wool leggings often have a tendency to become a bit baggy around the knees, this happens much less with wool-silk leggings. Fortunately, you can wash all our leggings cold, and they quickly return to their original shape.

Warm leggings without polyester or microplastics!

It is important to realize that wool and silk are not synthetic materials and are therefore not abrasion-resistant. Especially at the thighs, it is possible for the leggings to wear out. It is recommended to treat yourself to two pairs so that you can alternate them. This gives the wool a day of rest, which is very important for the longevity of your wool. This slows down wear significantly, though it cannot be completely prevented. If my leggings get a small ladder or a worn spot, I darn them. It is very simple and practically invisible.

If you are not able to come and try them on, I would recommend choosing the larger size if you are in doubt. I am a size 40/42 myself, and I prefer to wear a size 42/44 in these leggings. That way, I know for sure they won't pinch anywhere and that they are long enough.

70% biologische wol / 30% zijde is bijzonder

En dit is waarom: De combinatie van biologische wol en zijde is een van de meest verfijnde die er bestaat. Wol zorgt voor warmte, veerkracht en een natuurlijke isolerende werking; zijde voegt een ongeëvenaarde zachtheid en glans toe. Samen vormen ze een stof die heerlijk warm aanvoelt zonder zwaar te zijn, en die prachtig valt. Het is een materiaal dat je verwent: op je huid, en in je hoofd. Men zegt zelfs, dat de zijde in combinatie met biologische wol prikkel-reducerend is. Wel eens van het woord: "cocoonen" gehoord? Cocoonen betekent je bewust terugtrekken uit de drukke buitenwereld om binnenshuis in alle rust en geborgenheid te ontspannen. Het is afgeleid van het Engelse woord 'cocoon' (cocon), waarbij je je als een (zijde)rups in je eigen veilige coconnetje nestelt om op te laden. Dat is waarom wij zo van zijde, of biologische wol met zijde houden. Het reguleert je lichaamstemperatuur niet alleen, maar zorgt ook voor een beschermende filter. Selfcare dus! Ook fijn voor kindjes die op school veel last hebben van prikkels. Dit helpt ze om beter bij zichzelf te blijven.

Wassen met mate!

Was met de hand in lauwwarm water of gebruik het wolwasprogramma op maximaal 30 graden. Wol en zijde zijn gevoelig voor hitte en beweging, deze veroorzaken krimp.

Wasmiddel met lanoline

Gebruik een mild wolwasmiddel MET Lanoline, zoals ons wolwasmiddel LANALICIOUS.

Drogen

Druk het water er voorzichtig uit, wring nooit. Laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een droge handdoek, uit de buurt van direct zonlicht.

Extra verzorging

Laat het kledingstuk regelmatig luchten in plaats van wassen. Bewaar het liggend om de vorm te bewaren. Pas je op voor motten?
