I’ll be honest: ever since I started wearing these De Colores wrist warmers, cold hands are a thing of the past. And yes – even when I spend hours at my computer, my wrists stay wonderfully warm without me losing the use of my fingers.

Why you want them

These wrist warmers are made of 100% baby alpaca wool, and you can feel it immediately. They are super soft, warm, and breathable all at once. With a length of approximately 18 cm, they are long enough to provide good protection, but short enough not to get in the way. Perfect for anyone who suffers from cold hands or just wants some extra comfort during the winter days.

Two tone & unisex

What makes these wrist warmers extra fun is the two-tone design: two shades in one accessory, which makes them just that little bit more playful. Thanks to the ribbed knit, they fit snugly around your wrists without constricting. And because they are unisex, they suit everyone – making them ideal as a gift, too.

Material & care

Baby alpaca wool is known for its softness and warmth. It is self-cleaning and hardly ever needs to be washed. Letting them air out outside is often enough. Furthermore, alpaca wool contains no lanolin, which means these wrist warmers do not itch and feel super comfortable, even on sensitive skin.

Sustainable & fair

De Colores is a family business from Berlin that has been working with small and medium-sized workshops in Peru since 2005. There, the accessories are made with great craftsmanship and under fair conditions. So you are not just wearing something beautiful, but something with a good story.

Are you curious about how soft baby alpaca really is? Then come and visit our shop at Zwaanshals 376 in Rotterdam. We are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:30. Here you can see, feel, and of course immediately try on the wrist warmers in all colors.

Alpaca is heel bijzonder

En dit is waarom:

Alpacavezel is een van de zachtste en warmste natuurlijke vezels die er bestaan. Het is lichter dan wol, hypoallergeen en bevat geen lanoline — waardoor het ook geschikt is voor mensen die gevoelig reageren op wol. Alpaca isoleert uitstekend, ademt goed en gaat bij goede verzorging jarenlang mee. Het is een materiaal dat je verwent: op je huid, en in je hoofd.

Wassen

Was alpaca met de hand in lauwwarm water of gebruik het wolwasprogramma op maximaal 30 graden. Alpaca is gevoelig voor hitte en wrijving.

Wasmiddel

Gebruik een mild wolwasmiddel. Geen bleekmiddel, geen wasverzachter en geen gewoon wasmiddel. Onze washpaca is perfect afgestemd op de behoefte van jouw favoriete kledingstuk van alpaca.

Drogen

Druk het water er voorzichtig uit, wring nooit. Laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een droge handdoek, uit de buurt van direct zonlicht.

Extra verzorging

Laat alpaca regelmatig luchten in plaats van wassen. Bewaar het liggend en gebruik een cederhouten blokje om motten op afstand te houden.
