Always warm wrists, even behind your computer
I’ll be honest: since I started wearing these wrist warmers from De Colores, cold hands are a thing of the past. Even when I’m sitting behind my computer for hours. No more ice-cold wrists, no more stiff hands—just comfortably warm. And all of that without your fingers being confined.
Why you want these baby alpaca wrist warmers
These wrist warmers are made of 100% baby alpaca wool, and you can feel it immediately. They are soft, warm, and breathable all at once. With a length of approximately 18 cm, they protect exactly where you often lose heat: your wrists.
Perfect if you get cold easily, work at your laptop a lot, sit in a drafty room, or simply love that little bit of extra comfort in the winter.
Two-tone design & unisex
What makes these wrist warmers extra nice is the two-tone design: two shades in one accessory. Subtle, but just a little more playful than a solid color. Thanks to the rib stitch, they fit snugly without feeling tight.
They are unisex and fit almost everyone. Also great: they make for a surprisingly good gift.
Baby alpaca: warm without the itch
Baby alpaca wool is one of the softest natural fibers in existence. It is warmer than sheep's wool, but much lighter and softer. And importantly: it doesn't itch. Not even if you have sensitive skin.
Moreover, alpaca wool is self-cleaning. Airing them out is usually sufficient. There is almost no need to wash them. If you do want to wash them, use a special alpaca detergent and wash carefully.
Sustainable & ethically made
De Colores works with fair-trade certified workshops in Peru, in the Arequipa region. There, the alpaca fiber is processed into yarn and accessories under fair conditions and with respect for people and animals. That way, you're wearing something beautiful with a good story behind it.
Frequently asked questions about alpaca wrist warmers
Why are alpaca wrist warmers warmer than regular wool wrist warmers?
Alpaca wool has a hollow fiber structure, which allows it to retain heat better. This makes alpaca wrist warmers warmer than regular wool, while they remain light and breathable.
Do these wrist warmers itch?
No. These wrist warmers are made of 100% baby alpaca wool. That is the finest alpaca fiber, and it doesn't itch, even on sensitive skin.
Do I need to wash alpaca wrist warmers?
Usually not. Alpaca wool is self-cleaning. Airing them out is often enough. If you do want to wash them, do so cold and carefully using a special alpaca detergent.
Are these wrist warmers suitable for computer work?
Yes, they are ideal for that very reason. They keep your wrists warm while leaving your fingers free to type or use a mouse.
Are these wrist warmers produced sustainably?
Yes. They are made fair-trade in Peru in certified workshops where fair wages, craftsmanship, and animal-friendly alpaca farming are central.
Who are these wrist warmers suitable for?
They are unisex, and thanks to the rib stitch, they fit almost everyone without constricting.
