De Colores TWO TONE leg warmers made of 100% baby alpaca wool

Do you know that feeling where you want to build your entire outfit around one item? For me, that’s these leg warmers from De Colores. So soft, warm, and comfy that you almost forget they also look stunning with all your winter outfits.

Why you want them

These leg warmers are made of 100% baby alpaca wool. And believe me, you feel it immediately. They are not only wonderfully warm, but also breathable and light, ensuring your legs never feel clammy. With a length of approximately 40 cm, they are just right: long enough to wrap your calves snugly, but not too long to be cumbersome.

Fit & styling

The rib-knit structure makes the leg warmers super stretchy, so they always fit perfectly. You can easily slide them over your jeans or leggings, or wear them over tights for that cozy '80s vibe (but in a modern version). The two-tone colors add just that little bit of extra playfulness – whether you go for mustard melange, dark blue, or a fresh shade.

Material & care

Baby alpaca wool is self-cleaning and antibacterial. This means: do not wash! Simply air them out and they will be fresh again. That’s very convenient in winter, as it keeps your leg warmers looking beautiful for years without any hassle. And because alpaca fibers contain no lanolin, they are hypoallergenic. They feel ultra-soft against your skin.

Sustainable & fair

De Colores is a family business from Berlin that has been having baby alpaca accessories made in Peru since 2005. They work with small to medium-sized workshops, often family businesses, under fair working conditions and with an eye for the environment. The result: warm accessories with a heart that are as fair as they are beautiful.

Would you like to see the colors in person and feel how soft baby alpaca is? Come visit our shop at Zwaanshals 376 in Rotterdam. You are welcome to try everything on and get inspired from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM. Our collection is even nicer to discover in person.

Alpaca is heel bijzonder

En dit is waarom:

Alpacavezel is een van de zachtste en warmste natuurlijke vezels die er bestaan. Het is lichter dan wol, hypoallergeen en bevat geen lanoline — waardoor het ook geschikt is voor mensen die gevoelig reageren op wol. Alpaca isoleert uitstekend, ademt goed en gaat bij goede verzorging jarenlang mee. Het is een materiaal dat je verwent: op je huid, en in je hoofd.

Wassen

Was alpaca met de hand in lauwwarm water of gebruik het wolwasprogramma op maximaal 30 graden. Alpaca is gevoelig voor hitte en wrijving.

Wasmiddel

Gebruik een mild wolwasmiddel. Geen bleekmiddel, geen wasverzachter en geen gewoon wasmiddel. Onze washpaca is perfect afgestemd op de behoefte van jouw favoriete kledingstuk van alpaca.

Drogen

Druk het water er voorzichtig uit, wring nooit. Laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een droge handdoek, uit de buurt van direct zonlicht.

Extra verzorging

Laat alpaca regelmatig luchten in plaats van wassen. Bewaar het liggend en gebruik een cederhouten blokje om motten op afstand te houden.
