How do you care for an alpaca cardigan?

Alpaca does not need to be washed after every wear. Regularly let the cardigan air out outside or hang it in the bathroom while showering. This will naturally freshen up the wool.

Is washing necessary after all? Wash the cardigan cold according to the care label and use a mild wool detergent like Lanalicious. Do not wring and do not tumble dry. Lay the cardigan flat to dry and gently reshape it.

What can you do about pilling?

With soft natural fibers, some pilling can occur due to friction. This is normal and says nothing about the quality of the cardigan. With a Gleener fabric shaver, you can gently remove loose pills, helping your alpaca cardigan stay beautiful for longer.

Wassen

Was alpaca met de hand in lauwwarm water of gebruik het wolwasprogramma op maximaal 30 graden. Alpaca is gevoelig voor hitte en wrijving.

Wasmiddel

Gebruik een mild wolwasmiddel. Geen bleekmiddel, geen wasverzachter en geen gewoon wasmiddel. Onze washpaca is perfect afgestemd op de behoefte van jouw favoriete kledingstuk van alpaca.

Drogen

Druk het water er voorzichtig uit, wring nooit. Laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een droge handdoek, uit de buurt van direct zonlicht.

Extra verzorging

Laat alpaca regelmatig luchten in plaats van wassen. Bewaar het liggend en gebruik een cederhouten blokje om motten op afstand te houden.
