KOMODO wool cardigan CHARLIE COBALT made from 100% lambswool
Such a classic cable-knit cardigan, but in a color that immediately wakes you up. The CHARLIE cardigan by KOMODO is hand-knitted from 100% lambswool and comes in a bright cobalt blue. The chunky cables, dark buttons, and the short, boxy silhouette give this traditional wool cardigan a modern twist.
CHARLIE is sturdy, warm, and wonderful to wear over a blouse, dress, or a simple T-shirt. Not just an inconspicuous layering piece, then, but a garment that instantly makes the rest of your outfit a lot more interesting.

Classic cables, modern fit
The beauty of CHARLIE lies in the combination. The elaborate cable pattern is reminiscent of traditional wool sweaters, while the shorter, straight cut looks very contemporary. The cardigan falls approximately to the hip and has enough room to wear a thin blouse, turtleneck, or long-sleeve top underneath.
Choose your usual size for the fit as shown in the picture. Do you want to wear the cardigan looser or accommodate thicker layers underneath? Then you can choose one size larger. The model in the picture is 170 cm tall and is wearing size 2, comparable to a size 38 (UK 10/US 6).
COBALT or SAND?
COBALT is intense, bright, and definitely not shy. Stunning on denim and surprisingly beautiful with brown, rust, ecru, or green. A great choice for anyone who thinks winter is already gray enough.
SAND is a soft, warm sand color. Calmer than COBALT, but definitely not boring due to the sturdy cable pattern. Combine it with denim, black, chocolate brown, or tone-on-tone natural colors. Sad beige? Not at all, there is far too much going on in this knit for that.
100% lambswool
Lambswool is warm, breathable, and resilient. The material helps to retain heat without feeling stuffy. The wool is mulesing-free. How wool feels on the skin remains a personal matter: lambswool can feel slightly firmer than, for example, alpaca or merino. Are you sensitive to wool? Then wear a blouse or cotton long-sleeve underneath or come and try on the cardigan first.
How to keep CHARLIE beautiful
Wash the cardigan only when absolutely necessary; airing it out outdoors is often sufficient. Does it still need to be washed? Then choose a cold hand wash with a small amount of Lanalicious wool detergent. Do not wring, do not tumble dry, and do not hang it up while wet. Gently squeeze the water out of the fabric and lay the cardigan flat to dry in shape.

Pilling is a natural part of wool
Small lint balls can form due to wear and friction, especially on the sleeves and sides. This is normal for wool and says nothing about the quality. You can carefully remove them with a Gleener fabric shaver to make your cardigan look well-maintained again.
Frequently asked questions
Is the CHARLIE cardigan short?
The cardigan has a modern, slightly shorter cut that falls approximately to the hip.
How does the sizing run?
Choose your own size for a normal boxy fit. Take a size larger if you want to wear the cardigan extra loosely.
Is the cardigan itch-free?
That is personal. Lambswool can feel a bit firmer than finer types of wool. For sensitive skin, we recommend a layer underneath.
