Wide, but not sloppy
WAYNE has a roomy fit with plenty of freedom of movement around the thighs and straight, wide legs. The trousers are relaxed, but thanks to the neat waistband, zipper, and metal button, they still have a polished look.
The slanted side pockets are spacious enough for your hands, phone, and anything else you carry with you. At the back, there are patch pockets with a cool, workwear-inspired look. The belt loops make it possible to adjust the waist with a belt if needed.
The result is a pair of trousers that feels as comfortable as your favorite loose pants, but that you can head out in without a second thought. Even to places where sweatpants might be a bit too honest.
Two different styles with one drawstring
There are removable drawstrings at the ankles. If you leave them loose, WAYNE falls as a straight, wide pair of corduroy trousers. If you tighten the cords, the legs cinch slightly around the ankles, creating a rounded balloon shape.
In the photos, you can see both possibilities. With loose legs, WAYNE looks calm, long, and casual. Tightened, the trousers get more volume and a somewhat more playful silhouette. You can decide which shape you want to wear for each outfit.
Wear the straight legs over sturdy shoes or sneakers, or tighten the bottom to make your shoes stand out more. No complicated styling tricks needed: a few cords do the work.
How does the WAYNE fit?
WAYNE has a relaxed fit and is meant to fall loosely around the legs. Generally, choose your usual size for the fit intended by KOMODO.
When choosing your size, pay close attention to the waist. The trouser legs are supposed to be loose, but the waistband should fit comfortably. If you are between sizes and like to wear your trousers a bit lower or looser, you might consider the larger size and wear a belt if necessary. If you prefer to wear WAYNE a bit neater and closer to the waist, the smaller size might be more comfortable.
The fabric consists of 100% cotton and does not contain elastane. So, do not expect a stretchy sweatpant waistband. Corduroy does gradually become softer and more supple with wear, but the waistband remains a standard, sturdy one. CHESTNUT: warm chestnut brown with a copper glow
CHESTNUT is a rich, warm color that sits between chestnut brown, rust, and copper. In bright daylight, the orange-red glow becomes more apparent, while indoors, the trousers can look like a deeper brown. The wide ribs catch the light in different ways, making the color extra vibrant.
Combine CHESTNUT with navy blue, ecru, olive green, black, chocolate brown, or denim. A checkered shirt or a mottled sweater also works very well. In the photos, WAYNE is combined with a navy blue corduroy shirt. A simple combination, but certainly not boring due to the color contrast and the different rib structures.
Looking for a tone-on-tone look? Choose camel, sand, or other warm brown tones. A bit "walking autumn," but in the best possible way.

6-wale corduroy: what does that mean?
WAYNE is made of 6-wale corduroy. "Wale" refers to the number of ribs per inch. The lower the number, the wider the rib. With six ribs per inch, you get a clearly visible, wide rib structure.
The raised ribs give the fabric its soft surface and characteristic appearance. The wide rib fits well with the roomy model of WAYNE and makes the color look extra beautiful.
Organic cotton corduroy can feel a bit firmer at first but becomes more supple with wear. This makes the trousers feel increasingly comfortable and shape to your body, while the rib structure remains visible.

How to keep WAYNE looking its best
Only wash the trousers when truly necessary. Airing them out is often sufficient. If WAYNE does need to go in the washing machine, turn the trousers inside out, close the button and zipper, and remove the drawstrings at the ankles if necessary. Choose a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees and use a small amount of mild detergent.
Wash CHESTNUT with similar colors. Remove the trousers from the machine immediately after the cycle, shake them out gently, and pull them into shape. Let WAYNE air dry and avoid the tumble dryer. This way, the warm color, roomy fit, and soft rib structure will stay beautiful for longer.
Do you want to iron the trousers? Do so inside out at a low temperature. Do not press the iron hard onto the ribs, as this can flatten the structure. Often, just hanging them up is enough. Always check the sewn-in care label to be sure.
