The CHAI WINE from KOMODO is a soft, fitted top with an elegant cut-out above the chest. The crossed panels at the neckline give the design that little bit of extra flair, while the deep wine-red color is warm and easy to style.

The top is made from 92% modal and 8% spandex: supple, super soft, and very stretchy. We have the CHAI in two colors, WINE and GREEN.

A striking neckline

The crossed fabric sections form a graphic opening below the neck. The cut-out is positioned relatively high, meaning the cups of a standard bra usually remain covered. The exact placement naturally depends on your body type and the chosen size.

Would you prefer to show a little less skin? Simply wear a thin camisole underneath. Keep in mind that its color will be visible through the opening.

Soft and stretchy modal

Modal feels smooth, light, and soft against the skin. The addition of 8% spandex provides plenty of freedom of movement and ensures the top fits beautifully. Because the fabric is supple and relatively thin, underwear lines may show. Smooth or seamless underwear provides the most discreet result.

The CHAI is completely vegan and contains no wool, silk, leather, or other animal-derived materials.

Fit and size advice

The CHAI has a fitted cut and is designed to sit quite close to the body. The fabric is very stretchy, but if in doubt, choose a size larger. We also recommend this if you prefer a bit more room around the chest, shoulders, or waist.

The long sleeves feature extended cuffs with thumbholes. You can therefore wear the fabric partially over your hands or simply let the sleeves bunch around the wrists.

How to style CHAI WINE

The deep wine-red color pairs beautifully with black, dark denim, olive green, brown, and charcoal. Wear the top with jeans for an everyday look or combine it with dress trousers or a long skirt for a more dressed-up appearance. Worn under an open blazer, the cut-out remains nicely visible.

Careful washing and wear

Modal is wonderfully soft, but the delicate fabric can be damaged by sharp zippers, rough belts, jewelry, and bags that rub against the same spot repeatedly. Also, keep the top away from Velcro—they are not a good match.

• Wash inside out at a maximum of 30 °C.
• Use a delicate wash cycle and a mild detergent.
• Preferably wash in a laundry bag.
• Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
• Choose a low spin speed.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Let air dry.
