HOCOSA Wool silk turtleneck women BLUE
HOCOSA Turtleneck for women in wool and silk organic wool
We always say, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some woolens. But what exactly is a "woolen"? Generally, we mean our wool silk underwear. However, it can just as easily be something like this lovely turtleneck sweater made of wool and silk. It is best to wear wool underwear directly against your bare skin. Wool is a hollow fiber and therefore adopts and insulates your body temperature. Because of the scales, much like your own hair, wool breathes, unlike its synthetic "friends".
This turtleneck is made of 70% merino wool and 30% silk
The wool is organic and certified with the GOTS certificate. This is essentially the best you can find in organic wool. This shirt has a close fit. Wool and wool-silk are extremely stretchy, but it looks best when it fits snugly, as that allows the wool to do its job most effectively.
In principle, you do not need to wash wool. You take the best care of your wool by letting it rest for 24 hours after wearing it. You can hang your undershirt, shirt, or long-sleeve in the bathroom or outside for a night to air it out. The lanolin strengthens this self-cleaning process. When the wool gets slightly damp, it becomes a bit "soapy." It is not strange to not wash your wool for six months, but it is important to air it out.
After washing, pull your shirt into shape, especially lengthwise. If you don't, it may shrink due to washing. If you pull your shirt back into shape lengthwise, it will stay nice and long. Handy, because then you can tuck it into your trousers or skirt, keeping your back nice and warm.
