Why choose a wool-silk long-sleeve top from HOCOSA?

Sometimes you find a garment you never want to take off. This HOCOSA long-sleeve top is exactly that. Made from 70% organic wool and 30% silk, it acts as a soft, supple second skin that keeps you warm without ever causing you to overheat. Wool regulates your temperature, while silk adds softness and a touch of luxury.

What I often hear in the shop: "Finally, a long-sleeve top that is long enough so that my back doesn't get cold anymore." This shirt fits beautifully, is true to size, and is ideal for wearing under your clothes, but to be honest: it works perfectly as a top layer as well.

The finest details of this HOCOSA long-sleeve

The round neckline is just a little deeper than that of the Engel long-sleeve tops. Convenient if you want to wear it under something without a trim peeking out. The seams are thin and flat, so they are not visible under your outer garments. And another advantage of wool: it does not absorb unpleasant odors. Where cotton or synthetics quickly turn musty, you can wear this shirt for days on end without anyone noticing.

Washing tips for wool and silk

You hardly ever need to wash wool and silk. Often, airing it out is sufficient: a night outside or in the bathroom while you are showering does wonders. Do you have to wash it anyway? Do it cold, by hand, or on the wool wash cycle. Use a wool detergent with lanolin to care for the fibers, such as our Lanalicious wool detergent. After washing, gently pull the shirt into shape lengthways and let it dry flat. This keeps the fit perfect.

70% biologische wol / 30% zijde is bijzonder

En dit is waarom: De combinatie van biologische wol en zijde is een van de meest verfijnde die er bestaat. Wol zorgt voor warmte, veerkracht en een natuurlijke isolerende werking; zijde voegt een ongeëvenaarde zachtheid en glans toe. Samen vormen ze een stof die heerlijk warm aanvoelt zonder zwaar te zijn, en die prachtig valt. Het is een materiaal dat je verwent: op je huid, en in je hoofd. Men zegt zelfs, dat de zijde in combinatie met biologische wol prikkel-reducerend is. Wel eens van het woord: "cocoonen" gehoord? Cocoonen betekent je bewust terugtrekken uit de drukke buitenwereld om binnenshuis in alle rust en geborgenheid te ontspannen. Het is afgeleid van het Engelse woord 'cocoon' (cocon), waarbij je je als een (zijde)rups in je eigen veilige coconnetje nestelt om op te laden. Dat is waarom wij zo van zijde, of biologische wol met zijde houden. Het reguleert je lichaamstemperatuur niet alleen, maar zorgt ook voor een beschermende filter. Selfcare dus! Ook fijn voor kindjes die op school veel last hebben van prikkels. Dit helpt ze om beter bij zichzelf te blijven.

Wassen met mate!

Was met de hand in lauwwarm water of gebruik het wolwasprogramma op maximaal 30 graden. Wol en zijde zijn gevoelig voor hitte en beweging, deze veroorzaken krimp.

Wasmiddel met lanoline

Gebruik een mild wolwasmiddel MET Lanoline, zoals ons wolwasmiddel LANALICIOUS.

Drogen

Druk het water er voorzichtig uit, wring nooit. Laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een droge handdoek, uit de buurt van direct zonlicht.

Extra verzorging

Laat het kledingstuk regelmatig luchten in plaats van wassen. Bewaar het liggend om de vorm te bewaren. Pas je op voor motten?
