Why on earth would you walk around in boring socks when you could go for these striped ones instead? Well? Exactly, that's what I thought too! These pure wool striped socks are now famous (and infamous: because pure wool socks do get holes, but more on that later...) in the Netherlands and beyond. Warm feet are super important for getting through the day properly. With cold feet, you sleep less well, you feel uncomfortable, and the rest of your body often gets cold too... You don't want that! That is why we have been saying for years: wear pure wool socks. Without synthetic stuff mixed in. That might seem ideal because they wear out less quickly, but they are much less warm and start to smell. Just make sure you wear the socks in well-fitting footwear. If they are too tight, it will restrict your circulation, and you will end up with cold feet. You don't want that either.

Did we already mention that (ALL) pure wool socks get holes faster?

Just to be clear. These socks are therefore not suitable as slippers. 100% wool wears out faster than wool socks with a synthetic fiber mixed in. If you see that the socks are getting thinner: darn them with darning wool. It is a very simple and fun task.

With every order, you get a booklet in which the maintenance of your wool socks is described in detail. From our years of experience, we have learned that rotating your wool socks significantly extends their lifespan. So you don't need 1, but several pairs of wool socks. Always check your socks for wear after wearing them. As soon as you see that wear has occurred, you can start darning. Wool socks do not need to be washed, but they do need to be pampered :-)
