Look, once you’ve worn pure wool socks, you really won’t want to go back. These socks from HIRSCH NATUR are made of 95% organic wool and 5% linen. So: no synthetic yarn, just pure softness and natural warmth. And you feel that the moment you put them on.

Breathable, soft and completely GOTS

The organic wool keeps your feet dry and warm, while the bit of linen makes the sock just that bit stronger. Everything is fully GOTS-certified, so it’s organic and fair. These socks come in two versions: one with a black/grey print and one with a soft pink pattern – both equally beautiful, with that subtle Scandinavian touch.

Washing? Better not!

Wool is self-cleaning. So no, you don’t have to wash these socks after every wear. Just hang them outside overnight and they’ll be fresh again. Do you want to wash them anyway? Always use a wool wash program with wool detergent containing lanolin. Wool doesn’t shrink because of heat, but because of temperature fluctuations. A good wool wash program keeps the temperature constant. Use a low temperature and the lowest possible spin speed.

Wool = wear and tear. Period.

Pure wool is delicate. And yes, these socks wear out. Much faster than socks with plastic in them. But that is also exactly why they are so nice. Our tip? Buy several pairs and alternate. Wear them in well-fitting shoes, otherwise there is too much friction. And be alert: regularly check the toes, ball of the foot, or heel to see if the wool is getting thin. This way you can prevent holes.
