HIRSCH pure wool socks with a cable pattern made of 100% wool

Who says wool socks are boring? You'll have to answer to me if you think so ;-) Often, when you think of wool socks, you imagine thick, scratchy socks in dull colors: but these delightful pure wool socks come in beautiful colors and feature a gorgeous cable pattern on the upper part. Whether you wear them in your regular shoes or sneakers: they are meant to be seen! These wool socks are made of pure virgin wool with no synthetic fibers added, which makes them extra lovely and warm. These socks run large. When in doubt, always choose the smaller size.

The wool socks with CABLE pattern

are slightly thinner socks. They look a bit thicker at the top, but the "sole" makes up for that. When it comes to thickness, these socks fall somewhere between standard and thin socks. Comparable to a sports sock.

You don't have to wash our plain wool socks with cable pattern.

All pure wool socks will get holes

Please note! Wool socks invite you to wear them around the house, which is certainly no problem: but always do so while wearing shoes or slippers. If you wear 100% wool socks as house socks, they will wear out quickly and holes will appear. These are easy to "darn," however. We made a handy video in which I explain in detail how to do that. Furthermore, wool socks are slippery: watch out when walking on stairs! Unfortunately, holes cannot be prevented. Over time, 100% wool socks will wear out. For some, this happens faster than for others: my boyfriend walks holes into them within a few days, but I can wear my wool socks for winters on end. Additionally, it is important not to choose wool socks that are too big or too small. Properly fitting footwear is also important to extend the lifespan of your socks.

With every order, you receive a booklet that describes the care of your wool socks in detail. Through our years of experience, we have learned that alternating your wool socks significantly extends their lifespan. Therefore, you don't need just one, but multiple pairs of wool socks. Always check your socks for wear after wearing them. As soon as you see that wear has occurred, you can start darning. If you wait too long, the holes will fray further, and darning becomes a difficult task.

Wool socks don't need to be washed, but they do need to be pampered :-)
