Who says wool socks are boring? You'll have to answer to me if you think so ;-) You often think of wool socks as thick goat-wool socks in dull colors, but these wonderful pure wool socks come in beautiful colors and feature a gorgeous cable pattern at the top. Whether you wear them in your regular shoes or sneakers, they are meant to be seen! These wool socks are made of pure virgin wool without the addition of synthetic fibers, which makes them extra fine and warm. These socks run large. Therefore, when in doubt, always choose the smaller size.

The wool socks with CABLE pattern

are slightly thinner socks. They appear a bit thicker at the top, but the "sole" makes up for that. When it comes to thickness, these socks fall between regular and thin socks. Similar to a sports sock.

You don't need to wash our plain wool socks with cable pattern.

Wool has the fantastic property of being self-cleaning, so just hang them outside or in the bathroom for a night, and you can wear them again the next day without them smelling. Holes will appear in all pure wool socks

Pay attention! Wool socks invite you to wear them around the house, which is, of course, no problem: but always do so while wearing shoes or slippers. If you wear 100% wool socks as house socks, they will wear out quickly and holes will form. These are, by the way, easy to "darn." We made a handy video in which I explain in detail how to do that. Furthermore, wool socks are slippery: watch out when walking on stairs! Unfortunately, holes cannot be prevented. Over time, 100% wool socks will wear out. For some, this happens faster than for others: for instance, my boyfriend wears holes in them within a few days, but I wear my own wool socks for years throughout the winters. In addition, it is important that wool socks are not chosen too large or too small. Well-fitting footwear is also important to extend the lifespan of your socks.

With every order, you receive a booklet in which the maintenance of your wool socks is described in detail. From our many years of experience, we have learned that wearing your wool socks on an alternating basis significantly extends their lifespan. So you don't need just 1, but several pairs of wool socks. Always check your socks for wear after wearing them. As soon as you see that wear has occurred, you can start darning. If you wait too long, the holes will fray further, and darning becomes a difficult task.

Wool socks don't need to be washed, but they do need to be pampered :-)
