Why you’ll want it

This hat is the kind of item that customers in the shop often say about: “Oh yes, this is something that really makes you happy.” And I completely understand why. The colours are playful, the knit is robust, and the pom-pom on top makes it delightfully cheeky. And importantly: it’s handmade, fair trade, and made entirely from 100 percent wool.

How it fits (and how to wear it)

The WINTER BRIGHT hat is one size and fits most adults comfortably. The inner band – which sits against your ears – is lined with soft organic cotton, so there’s no itching. Wear it nice and slouchy towards the back or a bit more upright for that fresh, Scandinavian winter vibe.

Styling ideas:

• Perfect with a wool coat or padded coat in a muted colour – let the hat be the cheerful accent.
• Combine with a matching scarf or a warm wool sweater for a true winter walking look.

Material & care

The exterior is made of 100 percent wool. The interior lining is made of soft organic cotton, exactly where your skin is most sensitive. Because for me, comfort always comes first. And since it is wool, it naturally comes with a bit of wool wisdom from me:

When washing, always use a wool detergent with lanolin, such as Lanalicious. This keeps your wool at its best and preserves its natural properties. By the way, you really don't need to wash wool very often – just letting it air out works wonders.

Furthermore, always wash on a wool cycle, use a little detergent, don't overfill the machine, and take it out immediately after the cycle to prevent creases. And with knitted structures: watch out for jewellery, as snags can easily happen.
