Look, black trousers are usually easy enough. But these GIVN ELENA WINE RED trousers are for anyone who wants something different on their legs from time to time. The deep wine red color stands out, but doesn't shout. And the soft corduroy gives the color even more depth. Truly a very beautiful pair of trousers.

ELENA is made of 100% organic cotton and features a high waist with long, very wide legs. We have them in two colors: WINE RED and BLACK.

High waist with truly wide legs

ELENA sits high on the waist and runs wide and straight from the hips down. So, these aren't the kind of trousers that flare out by three centimeters just to be called "wide fit." These have genuinely wide legs.

The high waist looks great with a blouse, T-shirt, or sweater tucked in slightly at the front. The corduroy fabric gives the trousers structure and feels softer and warmer than regular smooth cotton trousers.

How to style ELENA WINE RED

  • Soft with powder pink, cream, or light gray
  • Edgy with dark blue and sturdy sneakers
  • Tone-on-tone with other burgundy and red shades
  • Smart with a black turtleneck and ankle boots

Afraid that red is hard to combine? This wine red shade actually works almost like a neutral color. It fits surprisingly well with pink, brown, dark blue, gray, natural tones, and black. In short: plenty of possibilities without having to buy an entirely new wardrobe.

ELENA has a high waist, a wide straight fit, and a long length. The sizes below are measured in centimeters on trousers laid flat. The waist and hem width are therefore half-circumferences.

Preferably compare the waist width and total length with a well-fitting pair of trousers laid flat. The legs of the ELENA are long and can easily be shortened if necessary.

GOTS-certified and vegan

The organic cotton is GOTS-certified. This quality mark sets requirements for the processing of organic fibers and the ecological and social conditions within the production chain. ELENA is also PETA-Approved Vegan and contains no materials of animal origin.

The trousers are produced under fair conditions in Paredes, Portugal.

How to care for corduroy trousers

Wash ELENA inside out according to the instructions on the wash label and use a mild detergent. It is best not to tumble dry: this keeps the color, fit, and soft ribbed structure looking good for longer. Always iron or brush the fabric gently in the direction of the ribs.

Biologisch katoen is bijzonder

En dit is waarom:

Biologisch katoen is een van de zachtste en meest huidvriendelijke materialen die er zijn. Het ademt goed, voelt vertrouwd aan en is makkelijk te wassen. Doordat het geteeld wordt zonder synthetische pesticiden of kunstmest, is het ook eerlijker voor de bodem en voor de mensen die het verbouwen. Biologisch katoen bevat minder chemische resten dan gewoon katoen, wat het extra fijn maakt voor mensen met een gevoelige huid — en zeker voor baby's en kinderen. Het is een materiaal dat je gewoon goed voelt: op je huid, en in je hoofd.

Wassen op lage temperatuur

Was biologisch katoen op maximaal 30 of 40 graden in de machine. Gebruik een fijnwasprogramma voor een langere levensduur.

Wasmiddel

Gebruik een mild, bij voorkeur biologisch wasmiddel. Vermijd bleekmiddel, dat tast de vezels aan.

Drogen

Haal je kleding DIRECT uit de wasmachine om wasstrepen te voorkomen. Laat het kledingstuk bij voorkeur aan de lucht drogen. Vermijd drogen in de droger, dat doet meer slecht dan goed voor je textielvezel.

Extra verzorging

Katoen is makkelijk te strijken op een middelhoge temperatuur. Was niet vaker dan nodig, luchten is vaak genoeg!
