Washing wool-silk: airing is better, wash occasionally

You do not need to wash this wool undershirt after every wear. After wearing it, hang it in the bathroom or outside in a sheltered spot first. Wool absorbs odors less quickly than many other materials and is often fresh again after a night of airing. Washing less is also better for the fine fibers.

Is washing necessary? Then choose a wool wash cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees with a low spin speed. Use a suitable wool detergent with lanolin and avoid regular detergent and fabric softener. Wool can shrink or felt due to heat, friction, and an incorrect wash cycle.

Do not wring and do not put it in the dryer. After washing, gently pull the shirt back into shape, especially in length, and let it dry flat. This way, the long, slim fit is well preserved.
