How does the ENGEL Natur women’s camisole fit?
The women’s camisoles from ENGEL Natur generally have a long and fairly slim fit. This makes them very comfortable to wear under clothing and ensures that you can easily tuck the camisole into your trousers or skirt.
Are you between two sizes? Then choose the larger size. This is often more comfortable, especially for a larger bust, so that the camisole is not too tight under the arms.
The narrow straps stay nicely in place on the shoulders and the back is relatively high. This gives you just a bit more warmth and coverage than a very low-cut camisole.
Why is a wool and silk camisole so nice?
Wool and silk are truly a golden combination for underwear. Wool is temperature-regulating and can absorb moisture without feeling clammy. Silk makes the fabric extra soft, smooth, and supple.
This makes this camisole very pleasant if you get cold easily, but also if you get hot quickly or perspire a lot. A wool/silk camisole can also be pleasant during menopause, as the material adapts much better to fluctuations in your body temperature than many synthetic fabrics.
Can you wear a wool/silk camisole all year round?
Yes, absolutely. In winter, it is a wonderful extra layer under a blouse, sweater, or dress. In spring and autumn, you wear it as a fine base layer, and even in summer, wool/silk can be surprisingly pleasant because the material is breathable and moisture-regulating.
So this is not just a winter camisole, but exactly the kind of basic that comes in handy almost all year round.
How often do you need to wash a wool/silk camisole?
As little as possible. Wool has natural properties that make it much less prone to retaining odors than, for example, cotton or synthetic materials.
Just hang your camisole outside, by an open window, or in the bathroom for a night after wearing it. Often, that is enough to make it fresh again.
How do you wash an ENGEL wool/silk camisole?
Do you still want to wash the camisole? Use a wool wash program or wash it carefully in cold water and always use a suitable wool detergent with lanolin.
We like to use Lanalicious wool detergent with lanolin for this. The lanolin helps to care for the wool and keeps the fibers supple and beautiful.
After washing, gently reshape and lay flat to dry. Do not wring and preferably do not tumble dry.
Is wool/silk softer than 100% wool?
Yes, generally wool with silk feels even softer and smoother than pure wool. If you are sensitive to wool or wear a camisole directly on the skin, this blend of 70% organic wool and 30% silk is often a really excellent choice.
For whom is this ENGEL Natur women’s camisole ideal?
For everyone who loves to wear natural materials and is looking for comfortable underwear that not only keeps you warm but also breathes and continues to feel pleasant. As a daily camisole, an extra layer in winter, under a dress, or simply as a soft base: this is the kind of item you will very quickly get used to.
