The AIKUSS MULTI wrist warmers are exactly the kind of little invention that makes you wonder: why didn't I have these sooner? These wrist warmers are made from 100% baby alpaca. Soft, warm, light, and incredibly pleasant to wear. And then those colors! The MULTI version has a rich blend of blue, purple, rust, orange, petrol, ocher, and a small streak of light. It’s as if little pieces of the Peruvian landscape run through the knit. Not bland, not boring, but very wearable.

We discovered the brand at the very last minute during our buying trip, tucked away in a small corner, by a lovely woman from Peru who started her own label. AIKUSS is woman-owned, fair trade, and inspired by the landscapes and rich textile tradition of Peru. Material & care
The AIKUSS MULTI wrist warmers are made of 100% baby alpaca. Baby alpaca does not mean the wool comes from baby alpacas, but refers to the fine, soft quality of the fiber. The material feels light, warm, and soft, and is often pleasant for people who find regular wool too itchy.
Washing is almost never necessary. Really. Alpaca has natural self-cleaning properties. Often, airing them out is enough. Lay the wrist warmers near an open window overnight or outside in a dry place, and they usually freshen up on their own.
Do they need to be washed after all? Then use a wool detergent like Lanalicious, wash by hand in cold water or on a very gentle wool cycle, and let them dry flat. Do not wring, do not tumble dry, and do not place on the heater. Baby alpaca is luxury, so treat it with a little love.
Indispensable: the Gleener for your alpaca accessories
With soft natural fibers like alpaca, small pills can form after use. That is normal and does not mean your wrist warmers are of poor quality.
