The MULTI beanie is made of 100% baby alpaca. That means it feels wonderfully soft, is nice and warm, yet remains light to wear. Material & care
This AIKUSS hat is made of 100% baby alpaca. Baby alpaca doesn't mean the wool comes from baby alpacas, but refers to the fine, soft quality of the fiber. The material is warm, light, and often more pleasant for people who find regular wool too itchy.
Washing is almost never necessary. Really. Alpaca has natural self-cleaning properties. Often, just airing it out is enough. Leave the hat out by an open window or outside in a dry place overnight, and it usually refreshes on its own.
Does the hat need to be washed after all? Use a wool detergent like Lanalicious, wash cold by hand or on a very delicate wool cycle, and let the hat dry flat. Do not wring, do not tumble dry, and do not place it on the heater. Baby alpaca is a beautiful material, but it does want a little love.

With soft natural fibers like alpaca, small pills may appear after use. This is normal and does not mean your hat is of poor quality.
