The TRANQUILLO POLLIE EARTH is a wonderfully wide-leg pair of trousers made from EcoVero™ twill, featuring a unique graphic print in warm earth tones. Burgundy, rust, brown, cream... all blended together, yet so beautifully balanced that the overall effect is actually very calm and chic.
And then there's the fabric. The twill has a special soft peach finish, which gives it an almost peach-like softness to the touch. Fluid enough to move beautifully, but with enough body to drape properly as trousers. This is a real keeper.

What makes the TRANQUILLO POLLIE EARTH so special?
For starters, the print, of course. No boring florals or standard animal prints, but large organic shapes in red, rust, brown, dark brown, and cream. A bit retro, a bit arty, and surprisingly wearable all at once.
But take a look at the cut as well. There are lovely pleats at the front that fall from the waist down. This gives the trousers extra room and that wonderful wide shape without adding a huge amount of fabric around your waist.

The POLLIE has a wide fit with straight, roomy legs. The waistband looks neat at the front like a pair of dress pants, while TRANQUILLO has added elastic at the back.
And that's clever. You get that polished look at the front, but you don't have to spend the whole day in a tight waistband. The elastic moves with you and makes the trousers much more forgiving in terms of fit.

What is EcoVero™?
EcoVero™ is a viscose fiber from Lenzing, made from wood sourced from controlled and certified sources. It was developed as an alternative to conventional viscose, using less water and energy during production.
But at least as important when you're actually wearing them: EcoVero™ feels wonderfully fluid and soft. The material drapes beautifully along the body and moves with you easily. Exactly what you want from wide-leg trousers.
What does the peach finish on these trousers mean?
No, there are no peaches in your trousers. A peach finish refers to the fabric's final treatment. The surface is processed to create a very subtle, soft, and almost velvety feel—a bit like the skin of a peach.
This makes this EcoVero™ twill feel less slick than classic viscose and gives the fabric more warmth and softness. It suits this earthy print particularly well.
How do you style trousers with such a bold print?

Are wide-leg trousers suitable if you aren't very tall?
Absolutely. The idea that you have to be tall to wear wide-leg trousers can go straight out the window as far as we're concerned.
Because the POLLIE falls beautifully from the waist and the legs are quite straight, the cut can optically elongate your silhouette. The inseam of approximately 70 cm is also helpful: these aren't the kind of trousers that leave twenty centimeters of fabric trailing on the floor.
A shoe with a small heel can add extra length, but they are just as fun with a flat shoe or sneaker.
How do you wash the TRANQUILLO POLLIE?
A nice viscose quality benefits from a little gentle care in the washing machine. Wash the trousers on a delicate cycle at a low temperature, preferably inside out and with similar colors.
Don't use too much detergent and don't overstuff the drum. Remove the trousers from the machine immediately after washing, gently reshape them, and let them air dry. We would skip the dryer.
Viscose can feel temporarily stiffer or smaller when wet. Don't panic: the fluid structure will return beautifully as you wear them or with a gentle iron.
For which seasons is the POLLIE suitable?
We consider this a real nearly-all-year-round pair of trousers. The fabric is fluid enough for spring and autumn, while the warm colors combine wonderfully with wool and knit cardigans as soon as it gets colder.
And on a not-too-hot summer day? T-shirt on, sandals on, and go.
