For everyone who loves wearing a nice knitted sweater, but prefers to avoid wool. KYRA by TRANQUILLO is knitted entirely from organic cotton and, thanks to the various rib structures, has just a bit more character than a standard cotton sweater.

The boat neck makes it feminine without being fussy, the slightly dropped shoulders provide a relaxed fit, and do take a look at the knit: different directions and structures are combined like panels. It’s actually very simple, but that’s exactly what makes it so lovely.

How does the TRANQUILLO sweater KYRA fit?

KYRA has a comfortable, slightly looser fit, but is certainly not overly oversized. The dropped shoulder seam gives it that lovely relaxed look, and the length of 56 cm in size S makes it great with both high-waisted trousers and skirts.

Is a cotton sweater warm?

A knitted cotton sweater feels very different from a wool sweater. Cotton is less insulating than wool, but thanks to the sturdy knit, KYRA really does have the feel of a nice sweater. Ideal for indoors, for spring and autumn, or for people who simply get too warm in wool.

Why can a knitted cotton sweater stretch out?

We do want to warn you about this. Knitted cotton can stretch or become wider during wear and washing. This is part of the characteristics of the fiber and the knit and does not mean there is something wrong with your sweater.

After washing, it is therefore best to gently pull KYRA back into its original shape and let it dry flat. This helps the knit to maintain its beautiful shape.

How do you wash the TRANQUILLO sweater KYRA?

Wash the sweater inside out at a maximum of 30 degrees on a delicate cycle, with a mild detergent and a low spin speed. Gently pull it into shape after washing and let it dry flat. Do not tumble dry.

And one more tip: be careful with jewelry, zippers, bags, and other sharp objects. In a knitted cotton structure, it is relatively easy to pull a loop or snag. For this reason, it is also better not to wash it together with clothing that has open zippers or bra hooks, for example.

How do you style a boat neck sweater?

KYRA is already striking enough on its own. It’s ready to go with a good pair of jeans, but it also looks very nice with wide-leg corduroy trousers or slightly dressier slacks. The boat neck beautifully accentuates your neckline, so a small necklace or a pair of statement earrings is all you need.
