The wool in this THINKING MU sweater is RWS-certified. RWS stands for Responsible Wool Standard and sets requirements for animal welfare and land management, among other things. The wool is also mulesing-free.

As little as possible, preferably. Wool naturally has properties that mean you can often just air out a wool sweater instead of washing it. Hang it up after wearing and give the fibers a chance to rest.

Does it need to be washed anyway? Use a cold wool wash program and a suitable wool detergent with lanolin, such as our Lanalicious wool detergent. Do not put it in the dryer; gently shape it after washing and let it dry flat.

Can a wool sweater pill?

Yes, even high-quality merino wool can pill due to friction. That is part of a natural material and does not mean the wool is of poor quality. Small lint balls can especially occur under the arms or where a bag rubs against the sweater.

Gently remove them with our Gleener fabric shaver. This way, your sweater stays looking nice for much longer.
