What makes the THINKING MU KAIA vest special?

How does the THINKING MU wool vest fit?

The KAIA has a fairly compact and fitted cut and is not overly long. Are you between sizes? Choose the larger size. Especially if you want to wear it over a blouse, shirt, or long-sleeved top, having a little extra room is nice.

The wool used is also RWS-certified and mulesing-free. RWS stands for Responsible Wool Standard and sets requirements for, among other things, animal welfare and the way the land where the sheep live is managed.

Fortunately, you don't need to wash wool after every wear. Hang the vest outside or near an open window regularly to freshen it up. That is better for the wool and ensures that your clothing stays looking good for longer.

Does it need to be washed after all? Wash it cold on a suitable wool cycle and use a special wool detergent. We recommend Lanalicious wool detergent with lanolin. Then lay the vest flat to dry and gently pull it back into shape.

What do you do if the merino wool starts to pill?

With natural wool, some pilling can occur over time due to friction. That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with your vest; it is a normal part of wearing a natural wool knit.

You can easily remove fuzz with our Gleener fabric shaver. Just de-pill it gently, and your wool vest will look much fresher again.

Because you can do anything with it.
