What makes the EKAIZ BLUE men’s wool cardigan special?
Take a close look at the knit around the shoulders. THINKING MU did not opt for a simple straight-knit cardigan here: the rib structure runs diagonally from the neck over the shoulders downwards. This gives the cardigan a tough, almost architectural look without being over the top.
We also love the high wool collar. Wear it open and you have a relaxed cardigan over a T-shirt or shirt. Zip it up, and the collar provides plenty of warmth around your neck.

Yes! And naturally, that makes us happy. This men's wool cardigan with a zip consists of 100% wool. No acrylic and no polyester to fill out the knit.
Wool is naturally breathable, insulating, and temperature-regulating. This makes it wonderfully warm without the feeling of being trapped in a synthetic, sealed layer. Moreover, wool is less prone to absorbing odors. Often, simply airing it out is enough to keep the cardigan fresh.
How does the EKAIZ wool men’s cardigan fit?
The EKAIZ has a regular fit and a straight cut. It is not meant to be tight against the body, but it is not an oversized garment either. The model in the photos is 1.83 meters tall and wears size M.
In size M, the total length is approximately 68 cm. We recommend choosing your usual size. If you are between two sizes and would like to wear it a bit looser over a shirt, you can opt for the larger size.
What is the advantage of a two-way zipper?
The EKAIZ has a zipper that can be opened from both the top and the bottom. That might seem like a small detail, but it is incredibly convenient while wearing it. Especially when sitting down, you can open the bottom part slightly, which makes the cardigan drape better and prevents it from riding up.
It is also fun for styling: open the bottom slightly so the shirt underneath is visible, or wear the blue wool cardigan completely open as a knitted jacket.
How do you style a dark blue men’s wool cardigan?
With almost anything. And that is exactly why dark blue is such a great color for a wool cardigan. In the photos, you see the EKAIZ combined with ecru and brown, but it is just as beautiful with jeans, beige chinos, corduroy trousers, or dressy grey pants.

Can you wear this thick wool cardigan as a transitional jacket?
On a dry spring or autumn day, absolutely. The sturdy wool knit and the high collar provide plenty of warmth. Wear a T-shirt or long-sleeve underneath, and you often won’t need an extra jacket on milder days.
In winter, the EKAIZ becomes a wonderful extra wool layer under a roomier winter coat. This way, you get much more use out of a single garment.
How do you wash a 100% wool cardigan?
As little as possible. Wool has fantastic natural properties and really does not need to be washed after every few wears. Let the cardigan air out after wearing it and give the fibers some rest.
Does it need to be washed? THINKING MU recommends hand washing. Use cold water and a special wool detergent. For this, we like using LANALICIOUS wool detergent with lanolin. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, and after washing, gently reshape and let it dry flat.
Can a 100% wool cardigan pill?
Yes, it can. With genuine wool, small balls or fluff can form due to friction, for example under the arms or in places where a bag or coat rubs against the knit. That is characteristic of a natural wool fiber and says nothing about the quality of the cardigan.
