RECOLUTION zip-neck sweater NIGELLA LILAC organic cotton

You see them more and more: skipper sweaters, also known as zip-necks. We’ve had them for men before, but now we’re seeing them everywhere for women too. We have a number of different variations of these zip-neck sweaters, namely in wool and some in organic cotton, like this one from the German brand Recolution.

This organic cotton zip-neck sweater is for women

and has a slightly loose fit. In the photo, I am wearing a size L in both colors: yes, we have this beautiful sustainable and vegan sweater in 2 lovely colors. If you want to wear it the way it’s "meant" to be worn, choose your own size. If you are between two sizes, I would recommend the smaller one.

Knitted fabrics tend to stretch out a bit as you wear them, so keep that in mind when choosing the right size. Our advice is not to hang the sweater in your closet, but to fold it; this prevents it from losing its shape. Also, always be careful with jewelry, etc., as these can cause small pulls.

Biologisch katoen is bijzonder

En dit is waarom:

Biologisch katoen is een van de zachtste en meest huidvriendelijke materialen die er zijn. Het ademt goed, voelt vertrouwd aan en is makkelijk te wassen. Doordat het geteeld wordt zonder synthetische pesticiden of kunstmest, is het ook eerlijker voor de bodem en voor de mensen die het verbouwen. Biologisch katoen bevat minder chemische resten dan gewoon katoen, wat het extra fijn maakt voor mensen met een gevoelige huid — en zeker voor baby's en kinderen. Het is een materiaal dat je gewoon goed voelt: op je huid, en in je hoofd.

Wassen op lage temperatuur

Was biologisch katoen op maximaal 30 of 40 graden in de machine. Gebruik een fijnwasprogramma voor een langere levensduur.

Wasmiddel

Gebruik een mild, bij voorkeur biologisch wasmiddel. Vermijd bleekmiddel, dat tast de vezels aan.

Drogen

Haal je kleding DIRECT uit de wasmachine om wasstrepen te voorkomen. Laat het kledingstuk bij voorkeur aan de lucht drogen. Vermijd drogen in de droger, dat doet meer slecht dan goed voor je textielvezel.

Extra verzorging

Katoen is makkelijk te strijken op een middelhoge temperatuur. Was niet vaker dan nodig, luchten is vaak genoeg!
