RECOLUTION BACOPA sweater – heathered, relaxed and fair

The BACOPA by RECOLUTION is the kind of sweater you’ll actually want two of. One for dressing up, and one that you’ll just wear non-stop all week because it’s so comfortable. A regular fit, crew neck, made from 100% organic cotton – and yes, it’s GOTS and fair-trade certified too. Timeless, basic, and yet unique thanks to that subtle heathered color.

Why you’ll want it

A basic that isn’t a boring basic. The BACOPA features a knit structure that feels sturdy but wears softly. The heathered color gives it depth and character, making it look a bit more exciting than a solid-colored sweater. What I often hear in the store: “This is exactly the kind of sweater my wardrobe is missing – easy, yet stylish.”

Fit & styling

The sweater has a regular fit: not too tight, not too loose. Perfect for almost any occasion. Pair it with jeans for a casual look, or with chinos for a night out. And honestly? It also looks fantastic worn under a jacket. Available in two colors: green and taupe. Both are equally beautiful, good luck choosing ;-)

Material & care

Made of 100% organic knitted cotton, fully GOTS and fair-trade certified, and vegan. That means: no harmful chemicals, no exploitation. For care: don't wash the sweater too often, use detergent sparingly, don't overfill the machine, and take it out immediately after the cycle finishes. For knitted cotton, the rule is: gently pull into shape after washing and dry flat. It's also best to fold and store it flat in your closet; otherwise, it may lose its shape. Need extra tips? Biologisch katoen is bijzonder

En dit is waarom:

Biologisch katoen is een van de zachtste en meest huidvriendelijke materialen die er zijn. Het ademt goed, voelt vertrouwd aan en is makkelijk te wassen. Doordat het geteeld wordt zonder synthetische pesticiden of kunstmest, is het ook eerlijker voor de bodem en voor de mensen die het verbouwen. Biologisch katoen bevat minder chemische resten dan gewoon katoen, wat het extra fijn maakt voor mensen met een gevoelige huid — en zeker voor baby's en kinderen. Het is een materiaal dat je gewoon goed voelt: op je huid, en in je hoofd.

Wassen op lage temperatuur

Was biologisch katoen op maximaal 30 of 40 graden in de machine. Gebruik een fijnwasprogramma voor een langere levensduur.

Wasmiddel

Gebruik een mild, bij voorkeur biologisch wasmiddel. Vermijd bleekmiddel, dat tast de vezels aan.

Drogen

Haal je kleding DIRECT uit de wasmachine om wasstrepen te voorkomen. Laat het kledingstuk bij voorkeur aan de lucht drogen. Vermijd drogen in de droger, dat doet meer slecht dan goed voor je textielvezel.

Extra verzorging

Katoen is makkelijk te strijken op een middelhoge temperatuur. Was niet vaker dan nodig, luchten is vaak genoeg!
