MADNESS merino wool shawl made of organic wool – large, airy, and so soft

Ooh, this shawl is beautiful. And large. And soft. And... I’m officially a fan. This is the kind of shawl you can use in every season. Made of 100% organic merino wool (certified organic and, of course, mulesing-free), knitted in an airy openwork pattern that creates a playful and elegant effect. The triangular shape is perfect: the longest side is about 210 cm, so it is nice and generous, but not heavy or thick.

You can wear it in several ways: as a shawl over your shoulders, casually knotted around your neck, or just cozily tucked into your coat. It doesn't itch (no, really, it doesn't), because the merino wool is fine and supple—even people who are usually a bit sensitive to wool can wear this just fine.

What I personally like: because of the open openwork knit, it doesn't feel too warm or stuffy, but it still provides that extra layer you sometimes need. We have this top-notch item in several colors, so there is a good chance your favorite is among them. One warning: there is a good chance you will intend to give it as a gift... and then keep it for yourself after all.

Washing instructions for merino wool

You really don't need to wash wool very often. It's better to hang your shawl outside and only wash it if it is truly necessary. Use a wool wash cycle, a little bit of wool detergent, and do not overload your machine. After washing, gently pull it into shape and lay it flat to dry.

Wol is fantastisch

En dit is waarom:

Wol is een natuurlijk materiaal dat heerlijk warm aanvoelt en tegelijkertijd juist goed ademt. Het helpt je lichaamstemperatuur op een fijne manier in balans te houden, zodat je het minder snel te warm of te koud krijgt. Daarnaast kan wol veel vocht opnemen zonder klam aan te voelen, wat het extra comfortabel maakt. Door de natuurlijke eigenschappen blijft wol vaak langer fris, waardoor je het minder vaak hoeft te wassen. Ook is wol sterk, veerkrachtig en gaat het bij goed onderhoud jarenlang mee. Het is dus niet alleen fijn om te dragen, maar ook een mooie, duurzame keuze.

Was koud of lauw

Was wol altijd voorzichtig koud of op maximaal 30 graden, ALTIJD met een wolwasprogramma. Wol krimpt bij temperatuurswisselingen, deze heb je niet bij een wolwasprogramma. Let op, wolwas programma is en essentie anders dan het handwasprogramma!

Gebruik wolwasmiddel

Kies altijd een mild wolwasmiddel en vermijd gewone wasmiddelen, omdat die de wolvezel kunnen beschadigen.

Niet wringen of slepen

Behandel wol rustig, laat het niet zwaar uithangen als het nat is. Wring de wol nooit uit. Druk het water er voorzichtig uit en laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een handdoek.

Luchten is het beste!

In principe volstaat luchten ook. Was alleen als het echt nodig is!
