Material & care

The crawling aids are made of GOTS-certified organic wool from Germany and knitted with love. Wool is self-cleaning, so washing is rarely necessary – airing them out outside is usually enough. Do you want to freshen them up anyway? Then choose a cold wool wash with a little Lanalicious. This contains lanolin, which helps the wool retain its natural protective layer and stay soft. Never use regular detergent – that dries out the fiber and can lead to holes.

Please note

Sustainable & fair

HIRSCH Natur has been known for decades for their fairly produced wool products. The wool comes from controlled organic livestock farming (KbT), where sheep live on free pastures without pesticides or mulesing. Production takes place in Germany under fair conditions. This way, you can be sure that you are choosing quality that feels good – for your baby and for the planet.

FAQ – frequently asked questions

Do these leg warmers itch?
No, the wool is exceptionally soft and suitable for sensitive baby skin. The natural lanolin makes them supple and comfortable.

Can I wash them in the washing machine?
Only on a cold wool cycle with Lanalicious. But it is better to let them air out – wool freshens up by itself.

Do they stay in place while crawling?
Yes! Thanks to the knitted cuffs, they fit snugly without pinching. They move with the body and stay perfectly in place, even for active crawlers.

Can adults wear them?
Not as leg warmers, because they are quite small. But they do work surprisingly well as wrist warmers – soft, warm, and colorful.

Why are they so sustainable?
Because they are 100% organic and GOTS-certified. They last a long time, are free of microplastics, and are completely biodegradable at the end of their life.
