HIRSCH NATUR wool knee socks solid – 100% wool, 100% comfort

For those who always have cold feet and are looking for a truly warm pair of knee socks: these thinner, solid-colored wool knee socks from HIRSCH NATUR are exactly what you're looking for. No blends with synthetic nonsense, just pure nature. And you can feel it!

They are made from 100% organic wool, GOTS-certified and completely plastic-free. That means: breathable, warm, and soft for your skin and for the planet. They reach just below your knees and are suitable for both men and women. Unsure about the size? It's better to choose the smaller one – wool stretches nicely.

Washing? Better to air them out

You don't need to wash pure wool socks. Believe it or not, wool is self-cleaning. Simply hang them out overnight after wearing, and you can put them back on fresh the next day. If you do want to wash them? Always use a wool wash program with a special wool detergent containing lanolin. Wash cold and on a low spin cycle to prevent shrinkage. Wear and tear is part of it (but you can do something about it)

Our socks are truly 100% wool. So: no nylon reinforcement. And that makes them more susceptible to wear – especially with frequent use or in shoes that are too loose. Alternate your pairs, check them regularly, and darn them in time. In our webshop, you will find everything you need to do that yourself, from darning wool to darning needles. We even wrote a whole blog post about it.

Wol is fantastisch

En dit is waarom:

Wol is een natuurlijk materiaal dat heerlijk warm aanvoelt en tegelijkertijd juist goed ademt. Het helpt je lichaamstemperatuur op een fijne manier in balans te houden, zodat je het minder snel te warm of te koud krijgt. Daarnaast kan wol veel vocht opnemen zonder klam aan te voelen, wat het extra comfortabel maakt. Door de natuurlijke eigenschappen blijft wol vaak langer fris, waardoor je het minder vaak hoeft te wassen. Ook is wol sterk, veerkrachtig en gaat het bij goed onderhoud jarenlang mee. Het is dus niet alleen fijn om te dragen, maar ook een mooie, duurzame keuze.

Was koud of lauw

Was wol altijd voorzichtig koud of op maximaal 30 graden, ALTIJD met een wolwasprogramma. Wol krimpt bij temperatuurswisselingen, deze heb je niet bij een wolwasprogramma. Let op, wolwas programma is en essentie anders dan het handwasprogramma!

Gebruik wolwasmiddel

Kies altijd een mild wolwasmiddel en vermijd gewone wasmiddelen, omdat die de wolvezel kunnen beschadigen.

Niet wringen of slepen

Behandel wol rustig, laat het niet zwaar uithangen als het nat is. Wring de wol nooit uit. Druk het water er voorzichtig uit en laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een handdoek.

Luchten is het beste!

In principe volstaat luchten ook. Was alleen als het echt nodig is!
