All about this product

FLOMAX TESS BLUE wool trousers made of pure organic wool

These are the lounge pants you didn’t know you needed until you put them on. The FLOMAX TESS BLUE are wonderfully warm, knitted trousers made of pure organic wool. Comfortable and roomy enough to curl up on the sofa without a care, yet polished enough to step out of the house in.

Are they sexy? Not necessarily. But they don't always have to be. Sometimes you just want to disappear into your woollies, turn the heating down a notch, and opt out of everything for a while. TESS is truly perfect for that. And did we mention how incredibly comfy they are?

We have these wool trousers in two colours: BLUE, a deep mottled dark blue, and TURQUOISE, a fresh blue-green shade.

Why you need these wool lounge pants

  • Made of pure organic wool
  • KBT-certified wool
  • Soft, knitted quality
  • Comfortable elastic waistband
  • Two spacious front pockets
  • Straight, wide legs
  • Warm, breathable, and temperature-regulating
  • Available in BLUE and TURQUOISE
  • Made by FLOMAX in Germany

Wool for your whole legs

We often talk about wool underwear, socks, and leggings. But sometimes you want more wool. Not just a thin layer under your clothes, but complete wool trousers that wrap your legs snugly from waist to ankle.

Wool retains heat well while being able to absorb and release moisture. This makes the trousers feel warm without becoming stuffy or clammy. Ideal for cold days at home, quiet work at your desk, a lazy Sunday, or a brisk walk where comfort is clearly more important than complicated fuss.

Relaxed, but not shapeless

TESS has a comfortable straight fit with wide legs. The elastic waistband fits snugly without making you wish for the moment you can take them off. There are two spacious patch pockets on the front. Handy for cold hands, your phone, or all those little things you seem to have to carry around with you throughout the day.

The deep mottled BLUE colour makes the trousers calm and easy to combine. Wear them with a wool jumper or cardigan for the full woolly experience, or pair them with a nice shirt and sturdy shoes if you want to wear them out and about. After all, comfortable doesn't automatically mean looking like you've completely given up.

Fit and sizing advice

The TESS has a roomy, relaxed fit. In principle, choose your own size. Are you between two sizes or in doubt? Then it is best to choose the smaller size.

The elastic waistband gives and the knitted fabric drapes smoothly over the body. Do not expect tight trousers, but a true pair of lounge pants with plenty of room for movement. Exactly as it should be.

Pure organic wool from FLOMAX

The trousers are made of pure wool from controlled organic farming (KBT). KBT wool is subject to requirements regarding animal welfare, feed, and the use of harmful substances.

FLOMAX creates natural clothing that is sturdy enough to be worn often while remaining comfortable. The entire production process takes place within a radius of approximately 35 kilometres around Gächingen, in the Swabian Jura. This makes the trousers truly Made in Germany.

How to wash these wool trousers

Wool has natural self-cleaning properties and fortunately does not need to go into the washing machine after every wear. Air the trousers regularly and treat small stains locally and gently first. Washing less is not only better for the trousers, but also for the environment. And for whoever has to do the laundry. Also not unimportant.

Is a full wash necessary? Always use the wool wash cycle, a low temperature, and a low spin speed. A delicate wash cycle is not automatically the same as a wool wash cycle, so really take a good look at the button you are pressing.

Use a suitable wool detergent containing lanolin, such as our own LANALICIOUS detergent for wool and silk. The lanolin helps keep the wool soft, supple, and strong. You only need a little bit. With wool, more detergent doesn't mean cleaner, just more work for your washing machine to rinse everything out.

Remove the trousers from the machine immediately after washing, gently pull them into shape, and let them dry flat. Do not wring and do not tumble dry. TESS likes to relax, but a round in a tropical storm setting is less to her liking.

Pilling is part of wool – the Gleener helps

With soft, knitted trousers made of pure wool, small fuzz or pills can form due to friction. Especially between the legs, by the pockets, or in places where your bag or jacket rubs against the fabric. This is normal for wool and does not mean the trousers are of poor quality.

With the GLEENER fabric shaver, you can gently remove these pills without unnecessarily damaging the fabric. The Gleener has different attachments for bulky, medium, and fine fabrics. Lay the trousers flat, choose the right attachment, and gently go over the knit. Don't push as if you're scrubbing a caked-on oven dish; wool appreciates a slightly kinder approach.

With proper washing, regular airing, and an occasional round with the Gleener, your wool trousers will stay looking good for much longer. Because pure wool is not a disposable product. If you take good care of it, you can happily disappear into it for years.

Frequently asked questions about the FLOMAX TESS BLUE

What material are the trousers made of?

The TESS is made of pure organic wool. The wool is KBT-certified and comes from controlled organic farming.

How does the FLOMAX TESS fit?

The trousers have a comfortable, roomy fit. Choose your own size or take the smaller size if you are between two sizes.

Do the trousers have pockets?

Yes, there are two spacious patch pockets on the front.

Are these just trousers for home?

No. TESS is wonderful as lounge pants for home, but the calm colour and straight fit also make them perfectly wearable outside the door. Combine them with a nice wool cardigan, a jumper, or a simple shirt.

Can knitted wool trousers pill?

Which detergent should I use for these trousers?

Use a special wool detergent containing lanolin, such as LANALICIOUS. Wash the trousers on the wool wash cycle with a low spin speed and let them dry flat in the open air.

Wol is fantastisch

And just like that, you were gone!

Was koud of lauw
