This is one of those shirts you quickly think: why didn't I get this sooner? The wool long-sleeve for women by ENGEL Natur is made of 100% organic merino wool and is wonderfully thin, supple, and soft. Perfect as a warm undershirt, but just as beautiful to wear as a fine wool top.

The color SAGE is a soft, calm shade of green that is incredibly easy to combine. With natural and sand tones, for example, but also with denim, black, or soft brown tones.

How does the ENGEL Natur wool long-sleeve fit?

ENGEL shirts have a long and fairly slim fit. This is actually nice when you want to wear it as a warm layer under your clothes.

Are you hesitating between two sizes? Choose the larger size. It will remain a nice slim fit, but you get just a little extra length in the sleeves and at the bottom. Also ideal if you like to tuck it into your trousers or skirt, keeping your back nice and warm.

Does a 100% wool shirt itch?

No, good merino wool doesn't have to itch at all. This organic wool from ENGEL is fine and soft and therefore very suitable to wear directly on the skin.

Moreover, wool helps to regulate your body temperature. It keeps you warm when it is cold, but can also wick away moisture and heat when you get warmer. That is why such a thin wool shirt is not only nice in winter, but also very pleasant in the spring and autumn.

Can you also wear this wool long-sleeve as a normal top?

Certainly! In fact, we think it is far too beautiful to just hide under your clothes. Combine it with jeans, wool trousers, or a skirt and you immediately have a fine, calm basic.

Because the fabric is thin and supple, you can easily wear a cardigan or jacket over it without it becoming too bulky.

How often should you wash a wool long-sleeve?

As little as possible! That is one of the great advantages of wool. Wool is much less prone to absorbing odors than cotton or synthetic materials.

Hang your shirt outside or in the bathroom to air out after wearing. Often, it can be worn again the next day.

How do you wash a shirt made of organic wool?

Does it need to be washed? Wash wool carefully and cold, and always use a suitable wool detergent.

We like to use Lanalicious wool detergent with lanolin for this. The lanolin helps to care for the wool and keep it supple.

After washing, gently pull it into shape and let it dry lying flat. Do not wring it out and preferably do not put it in the dryer.

Was koud of lauw

Was wol altijd voorzichtig koud of op maximaal 30 graden, ALTIJD met een wolwasprogramma. Wol krimpt bij temperatuurswisselingen, deze heb je niet bij een wolwasprogramma. Let op, wolwas programma is en essentie anders dan het handwasprogramma!

Gebruik wolwasmiddel

Kies altijd een mild wolwasmiddel en vermijd gewone wasmiddelen, omdat die de wolvezel kunnen beschadigen.

Niet wringen of slepen

Behandel wol rustig, laat het niet zwaar uithangen als het nat is. Wring de wol nooit uit. Druk het water er voorzichtig uit en laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een handdoek.

Luchten is het beste!

In principe volstaat luchten ook. Was alleen als het echt nodig is!
